The quartet along with the rest of the Weaselys' arrived at the King's Cross station. They all walked through the pillar to reach the wanted platform, 9 and three quarters. Harry and Lysithea were told by Arthur to follow him through it as he wanted to stay close to the two kids, standing alert for any threat all times. The kids then boarded the train, Hogwart's Express.

"I need to talk to you lot in private," Harry muttered to Lysithea, Ron and Hermione as the train picked up it's pace.

"Go away, Ginny," said Ron.

"Oh well, that's charming," said Ginny huffily, and she stalked off. Lysithea understood Ginny. Well, partially since last year she was only ever after a handsome dead writer, but Lysithea Black and Ginny Weasely were neither friends nor fond of each other a lot. Lysithea, a social butterfly, felt out of luck when Ginny pushed her away no matter how hard she tried while Ginny felt like her brothers paid more attention to Lysithea than her. She felt like she stole her thunder of being the only girl in the family. OoYes, true that. But also because Ginny hated the way Lysithea was incredibly tough to hate. She hated the way that no matter what, Lysithea Black will always be a part of Ginerva Weasely and her her family's. Well, she was torn between loving Lysithea because of her being her older sister or despised her for the love and attention from her parents and brothers had gotten divided.

The quartet then set off down the corridor, looking for an empty compartment, but all were full except for the one at the very end of the train. This had only one occupant, a man sitting fast asleep next to the large window. Harry, Ron, and Hermione checked on the threshold. The Hogwarts Express was usually reserved for students and they had never seen an adult there before, except for the witch who pushed the food cart, of course.

The stranger was wearing an extremely shabby set of wizard's robes that had been darned in several places. He looked ill and exhausted. Though quite young, his light brown hair was flecked with gray.

"Who d'you reckon he is?" Ron hissed as they sat down and slid the doorshut, taking the seat farthest away from the window.

"Professor R. J. Lupin," whispered Hermione at once.

"How d'you know everything?" Ron commented in utter disbelief.

"It's on his suitcase, Ronald," she replied, pointing at the luggage rack over the man's head, where there was a small, battered case held together with a large quantity of neatly knotted string. The name Professor R. J. Lupin was stamped across one corner in peeling letters.
