The sun reached the horizon as a new day started, the sun illuminated Hogwarts woth it's powerful sun rays stating it was morning. It was quite quiet, no huzzle or buzzle alomg the corridors but once it it 6am, right then the morning truly began.
Then there was a persistent knock heard at the door, startling Ivy and making her fall out of bed. "Ouch!" She rubs the back of her head, as she adjusts to the bright sun rays.
She slowly stood up and walks to the door, opening it slowly to see a girl around her age in her uniform. "Sorry to disturb your sleep, but you guys should be up by now it's almost time for breakfast."
"Oh... right. We'll be right there." Ivy closes the door and starts to wake up her roommates. She shakes slightly Luna, "Hey, wake up. We gotta get ready!" She did the sale to Lily.
After she saw them wake up and get ready, Ivy also did the same. Wearing her uniform, putting on her tie and her boots. She also styled her curly h/c hair, to at least look presentable. She then grabbed her wand. Once the other two girls were done, she walks out room to meet everyone at the common room.
Once they meet everyone in the common room, the prefect speaks. "Morning everyone, I'm Rowan Fierce, Ravenclaw's prefect. I'm happy to announce to everyone that today is your first day in Hogwarts, i have to set some rules tho. First, dont be late to class. If any one of you is seen walking around the hallways skipping class, will be forced to go to detention. Second, no duels around campus. Avoid getting in trouble or involved in duels, that will also face detention. Third and final rule, please be nice to one another. There's no excuse of being kind. Also, every one of you will receive their schedule of classes on their first class, which will be Enchantments. Now, please follow me to the Grand hall for breakfast."
Everyone exited the common room and followed the prefect to the Grand Hall. Ivy felt her stomach rumble in hunger. She kept walking and will once in a while glance around the intricate details around the castle. It felt so unreal to be walking down the halls of the wizardry castle.
"Hey, Ivy!" Luna walked towards her, "How are you? We didn't talk much this morning, just wanted to see how you're doing." She smiled.
"Oh, hey Luna!" Ivy smiled at her, as they walked to the Grand Hall, "I'm doing good, pretty excited for our first class to start." She chuckles.
Then after all the walking, they walk inside the Grand Hall taking their seats in the Ravenclaw table. The tables were filled with breakfast, the sound of students talking, laughing, echoing through the room. Ivy glances at the professor's sitting at their respectful seats as well at the front of the room. They seemed very serious and nonchalant, it made her think of how they are in class.
At Enchantments class
After class, everyone was led to their respectful classes. Ivy was walking to take a seat before class started, she got a clear view of the whole classroom. She felt excited to start a new semester in Hogwarts.
Then the Professor walks inside the classroom, standing at his podium and opening a book. "Good morning, class. Is nice to see you all! I'm Professor Flitwick, your enchantments professor. I'm glad to see new faces in this new year of wizardry. Now, i would like for you all to open the enchantments book to page 19 and start reading. Today we'll learn the charm called 'Wingardium Laviosa', is a charm used to make objects fly or levitate. Make sure to pronounce it correctly. Then, one by one will test it and make a feather levitate. Now, being to read and in a few we'll start."
Ivy nods and starts reading, making sure to process everything before it's time for the demonstration. She was very smart and agile, reading was one of her favorite activities so it felt good to start strong in her first day.
The others students were also very focused on their reading, meanwhile Draco was reading but couldn't help but glance at Ivy while she read her book. He seemed rather annoyed by her presence. There wasn't much into it tho, like why would he?
He the flips the pages of the book and finds a certain charm and smirks. "Oh? This could be fun to mess with.."
