I couldn't believe Leo left me like that. But that's besides the point.
"Annabeth why am I here" I asked quietly as we walked into the Hermes cabin. "Because you're a demigod."I gave her a weird face. My four-year-old brain couldn't handle that." It's a child of a god and a human".
As soon as we got into the Hermes cabin, everyone started staring and muttering about me being very young. I have social anxiety. So that was torture. Annabeth exclaimed to everyone that I was Aquamarine and unclaimed.
They all said hello and went back to their conversations. I felt so out of place. I'm blonde with sea-green eyes. Everyone here was blonde or brunette with brown or blue eyes. I found my spot on the floor put there by Chiron.
Then Luke came in and sat next to me. One of the campers asked how I was so smart. The problem was I didn't know. Luke told me to take his hand and we went around the camp to see what I was best at.
First, we tried forging which I was okay at I made a pretty sword. Then it was time for the archery ranger. I hit a bullseye in the first five arrows. With sword fights though I was even better. I tried many things all of which I was okay or great at.
Luke told Chiron about this and he didn't know what to say. Apparently this was meant to determine my cabin but they couldn't tell. I turned and looked out the window in The Big House.
The SEA. The place I've always wanted to visit. I turned and sprinted put that door. Luke chased after me. I got to the beach and put my hand on it to see if it was cold and then ran in.
I looked a Luke, who looked confused and surprised, and said" What's wrong." He called for Chiron and Annabeth. I looked up and saw a trident above my head. I was too stunned to speak. I was the daughter of the Sea god. Well if the name didn't give it away already.
