Aquamarine Pine

My world was about to crumble.

I stayed with Luke whilst he tried to remember himself. Kronos had taken over him. Kronos has been trying his best to take over me. After the Labyrinth, I haven't really been the same. My friends think I'm a traitor. I have no family to go with.

Finally summer came after months of planning and repairing. I wasn't sure I was ready. Luke had to make it out alive. We had prepared for this yet I wasnt sure it would work. Luke told me both of us would survive. To a 9 year old that's all I needed but I should of questioned further. I knew someone had to die for this to work.

Then I was happening the war. They protected the Empire state building with all their might. Luke told me to go wild. In secret I help the opposite side. I was young and clueless. I thought that if I tried hard enough to help both side we would both win. I got into the Empire state building and ran to the elevator as quick as possible. Before the doors closed Nico ran and shadow traveled in.

Holding his Stygian iron Nico looked terrifying. He put the sword to my neck and whisper "You aren't going anywhere when you get to the top." I began to cry. He didn't understand why I was still doing this. Mine and his life was on the line. Kronos wouldn't accept people leaving mid way through. He said to me that if I left the whole camp was going down with me.

We got to the top of the elevator and the door open. Zues and Hades were waiting outside. I was pushed out of the elevator. Nico looked completely terrified. Like he didn't know this was going to happen. The electric blue and brown eyes scared me to death. Poseidon wasn't there with them. Nico was trying to reason with his father but all Hades said was "she's a traitor son we cant have her up here."

Right then the whole camp came up with the hunters. When Zues and Hades turned there back, Nico ran and grabbed my had and sprinted into the crowd. Will found us and asked what happened. Nico told him everything. Hades eyes turned straight towards me." Nico why is he staring at me " I whispered. He grabbed my hand and pushed me behind them.

The rest of camp were sitting around the twelve chairs trying to figure out what was going on. Someone grabbed me from behind and was taken somewhere. Zues had a long thought about what I had done and then threw me against a wall. I blacked out. All I knew was the sound was able to attract the attention of the campers. Will and Nico sprinted over. Percy and Annabeth looked horrified. Zues on the other hand looked pleased with himself.

I woke up behind one of the buildings. All I could see was a faint look of yellow over me. I could hear The gods fighting with eachother and giving out gifts to the others. I could hear lukes voice asking where I was. The gods wouldnt tell him anything. Will told me to rest whilst he delt with that. There's was just me lying down in a alleyway with Nico there's so zues or anygod couldn't try kill me.

I heard will talking to Luke and the rest about what Zues did and Posiedons voice could be heard from a mile off. Nico told me it would be alright. The next time I woke up I was in the infirmary. The summer was over. It was the day before my birthday. Wait I've been out for like three weeks. It was dark out and only one Apollo camper was there. I tried sitting up but pain went slithering up my spine.

After that I just went to sleep there was no way I was doing anything. Wakeing up the next day was a little better. "It'll take 4 weeks to fully heal." Will said when I woke up. No one was here. Percy and Annabeth had left for school. And the rest who knows. It was the same as always just me and Will. Will left and didn't come back for a good half an hour. When he did come back he brought someone else. Nico!! He still here. I wanted to run up and hug him. All I could do was sit up. Even that caused a lot of pain. I slept through the day.

I woke up after a while. I had one day before I could leave the infirmary but will would find other problems that needed to be treated. All I had been told about what Zues had done was that it messed up my spine. Luke was still there and head of the Hermes cabin. After the four weeks I could walk but like I was wobbly.

I walked up to Luke to ask him for the full story. He said that I had been smashed into a wall and then taken care of. Posiedon was furious. Zues didn't think I shouldn't live because I was a forbidden child and I was on the other side. I was about to cry. Someone I thought didn't care about me actually went up against Zues.
