Taehyung sat alone in his room, staring out of the window at the moonlit landscape. The night was still, with only the faint sound of the wind rustling through the trees. Yet, his mind was anything but quiet. He couldn't stop thinking about Y/N. Everything about her the way she smiled, the way she moved, the way she had looked at him with such trust after he had saved her reminded him of his old girlfriend, the one he had lost so many years ago.

He closed his eyes, but the memories flooded back even more vividly. Her laughter, her touch, the way she had made him feel like he was more than just a monster. And now, here was Y/N, a living echo of that past love, stirring emotions he had long buried.

But she wasn't her. Y/N was different. She was her own person, with her own life and dreams. Taehyung knew that, but the resemblance was too strong, the pull too irresistible. Every time he saw her, he was reminded of the happiness he had once known and the pain that followed.

As these thoughts churned within him, the door to his room creaked open, and Suga stepped inside, his expression serious. He leaned against the wall, arms crossed, watching Taehyung with those sharp, discerning eyes that seemed to see right through him.

"Don't even think about it, Taehyung," Suga said, his voice firm yet tinged with concern. "I know what you're feeling, but it's dangerous. She might look like her, but she's not. You can't let yourself get caught up in the past."

Taehyung tensed, the muscles in his jaw tightening. "Stop reading my mind, Suga. I don't need your advice on this."

"We've been through this before, and it didn't end well. I'm just trying to protect you. And her." Suga replied, his tone calm but unyielding.

"I don't need protection," Taehyung snapped, though his voice held a note of uncertainty. He knew Suga was right, but he didn't want to admit it. The pull towards Y/N was too strong, too intoxicating to resist.

"Maybe not," Suga said quietly, "but Y/N does. You could hurt her, Taehyung, without meaning to. And we don't want to see you get hurt either."

Taehyung looked away, his hands clenching into fists. The truth of Suga's words cut deep, but it was a truth he didn't want to face. He didn't want to admit that his feelings could be dangerous, that his desire to protect Y/N could end up doing the exact opposite.

Just then, Jimin appeared in the doorway, his usual cheerful demeanor replaced by a look of quiet agreement. He glanced between Suga and Taehyung, sensing the tension in the room.

"Suga's right, Taehyung," Jimin said, stepping inside. "We know how much she reminds you of her, but you have to be careful. It's not fair to Y/N to see her as someone she's not. And it's not fair to you either."

Taehyung's shoulders slumped slightly, the weight of their words pressing down on him. "I know she's not her," he murmured, his voice barely audible. "But it's hard, Jimin. Every time I see her... it's like she's here again."

Jimin sighed, walking over to stand beside Suga. "We understand, Taehyung. But you have to remember why you're here, why we all stay together. We can't let our pasts control us. Y/N doesn't deserve to be pulled into this world because of a resemblance."

Suga nodded in agreement, his gaze softening slightly. "We're just trying to look out for you, Taehyung. You're not alone in this."

Taehyung closed his eyes, taking a deep breath as he tried to steady himself. He knew his friends were right, but that didn't make it any easier. The memories, the emotions, they were all so overwhelming, and Y/N's presence only intensified them.

"I need some time to think," Taehyung finally said, his voice heavy with exhaustion.

Suga and Jimin exchanged a glance before nodding. "We'll give you space," Suga said, turning to leave the room. "But remember, we're here if you need us."
