Chapter 5

The morning after the party, Y/N awoke with a mix of excitement and nervousness. Her thoughts were still tangled around the previous night's events, especially the kiss she had shared with Taehyung. With no classes scheduled for the day, she decided to call her older sister to share the news.

As Y/N dialled her sister's number, she couldn't help but feel a rush of anticipation. When her sister answered, her voice was warm and familiar, instantly putting Y/N at ease.

"Hey, sis! It's Y/N," she began, trying to keep her voice steady despite her bubbling excitement.

"Oh my gosh, Y/N! It's so good to hear from you!" her sister replied enthusiastically. "What's up? How's everything going in Switzerland?"

Y/N took a deep breath. "Well, last night was incredible. I went to Jungkook's birthday party, and... something happened. Taehyung and I... we shared a kiss."

There was a pause on the other end of the line before her sister's voice erupted with excitement. "No way! That's amazing! Tell me everything! How did it happen? What was it like?"

Y/N recounted the evening in detail, from arriving at the party to the kiss on the balcony. Her sister listened intently, interjecting with questions and expressions of awe. As they chatted, Y/N's nerves settled, replaced by a sense of joy and anticipation.

After the call, Y/N decided to treat herself to a leisurely lunch, enjoying the freedom of having a day off. She wandered into a charming café near campus, ordering a light salad and a cup of coffee as she found a table by the window. The café was cozy and warm, providing a pleasant escape from the bustling city.

Just as she was about to take her first bite, she spotted Jimin, Jungkook, and Taehyung entering the café. They seemed to be in high spirits, their conversation animated and full of laughter. Y/N hesitated for a moment, unsure whether to approach them. But before she could decide, Jungkook noticed her and waved enthusiastically.

"Y/N! Hey! What a coincidence!" Jungkook called out, making his way over to her table. "We were just about to grab lunch. Do you want to join us?"

Y/N smiled, feeling a bit shy but also pleased. "Sure, that sounds great."

The three of them pulled up chairs and joined her at the table, and soon they were chatting casually, sharing stories and enjoying their meals. The atmosphere was light and relaxed, and Y/N found herself laughing along with the group, feeling more at ease.

Jimin, ever the charmer, leaned in towards Y/N with a playful grin. "You know, you really made an impression last night. I didn't get a chance to tell you how stunning you looked."

Y/N blushed slightly, trying to deflect the compliment with a laugh. "Thanks, Jimin. It was a fun night."

Jimin's smile widened as he continued his flirtatious banter. "Well, if you're free sometime, I'd love to take you out for a drink. What do you say?"

Before Y/N could respond, she felt a sudden sharp nudge under the table. She looked down to see Taehyung's foot firmly pressed against Jimin's, the gesture unmistakable in its intent. Jimin flinched, his playful grin faltering as he looked up at Taehyung with a mix of surprise and irritation.

"Jimin," Taehyung said, his voice low but firm, "perhaps you should give Y/N some space."

Jimin's face turned a shade of red, but he quickly composed himself. "Alright, alright. No need to be so intense. I was just trying to be friendly."

Y/N felt a mixture of relief and embarrassment at Taehyung's intervention. She glanced at him, catching his eye. His expression was calm, though there was a hint of something more serious beneath his otherwise relaxed demeanor.
