Everyone was starting to panic. Ai was pointing a freakin' katana at her own mother. The frozen smile, laced with never-ending tears rolled down her face and her eyebrows were down, showing that she was either angry or sad. Aqua and Ruby were shocked that Ai was like this, never seen her threaten someone.

Ai: "Hi...Mama."

Ayumi: "Ai...my daughter...you've grown so much-"

Ai: "Cut the bullshit."

Now everyone was even more shocked to hear her swear.

Ai: "What are you doing here...? I thought you were living the perfect life without me in the picture...Hm? Isn't that what you wanted? To have me out of the picture so I wouldn't be a burden? Come on...say something...FUCKING SAY SOMETHING, MOTHER. OR I WILL DRIVE THIS BLADE RIGHT THROUGH YOUR HEART SO YOU CAN FEEL THE SAME PAIN I HAVE DEALT WITH FOR YEARS."

Ayumi doesn't say anything, she knows what she has done and she wants to atone for her sins. She understood her anger toward her, she caused this. Ayumi gently places her hands on Ai's, dragging the tip of the sword to her chest, where her heart is.

Ayumi: "Do it."

Everyone stood motionless.

Ayumi: "I know I cannot fix my mistakes and the pain I caused you is what made you who you are. If only...I was better...I couldn't be better...I couldn't be the mother you needed...what I had done is inexcusable and unfitting for a parent. I left you alone in this unforgiving world with no one to turn to and lend a hand out. If you think killing me will relieve you of that pain...then impale me with the sword."

Ai stands there, not moving. Aqua and Ruby await what she would do. Ai started to shake, her grasp on her sword was wavering. Water fell from her face.

Ai: "Why..."

Ayumi could only look with sorrow, it was suffocating to see her child in pain. Ai gritted her teeth as she tried to remain calm and focus on what she was doing, but it was hard because the bottled-up emotions in her were starting to spill. Tears flowed like waterfalls from Ai's eyes.

Ai: "...Mama...was I not the daughter you wanted?... Was I a curse to you...? ...Please...TELL ME WHY YOU FUCKING LEFT ME ALL ALONE!!!!"

Ayumi lunged forward, pushing the sword away and hugging Ai as tightly as her old body could.

Ayumi: "I understand your anger...I will take it all...hit me if you wish, punch me as you will, I will atone in any way I can..."

Ai didn't say anything and bawled her eyes out, crying hysterically. Ruby looked at her mother with sadness while Aqua stared at Ayumi with shame. Izumi felt her heartbreak because this was something similar to how Izuku was treated. Ai separates from the hug and stares at Ayumi. Just as she was about to say something, a massive shockwave erupted that emanated from the relay tower, along with a thunderous voice that could be heard.
