Ajabdeh slept at the dinner table while kuwar Pratap took her and put her in her room.

"Shubh Ratri my love..."
Says Pratap kissing Ajabdeh's forehead before leaving her chamber.

Next morning Ajabdeh woke up with a hint of smile on her face remembering about yesterday's events as she loved the surprise prepared by kuwar Pratap.

Ajabdeh did her usual morning routine and walked to the kitchen to have breakfast, she saw her mother already prepared everything for breakfast. Jaiwanta bai ji has arrived followed by kuwar Pratap and Shakti.

Says Ajabdeh

I hope your karwa chauth fast was completed properly...."
Says jaiwnata

Says Ajabdeh with a hint of shyness on her face

Kuwar Pratap diverts his graze to avoid kuwar Shakti who is staring at him.

Both kuwar Pratap and Ajabdeh looks towards Kuwar Shakti who starts to cough.

"Oh manjli ma I guess she is still resting she was very tired from yesterday's fast... "
Says Ajabdeh smiling while kuwar Pratap offers water to kuwar Shakti

Everyone was eating peacefully when suddenly Ajabdeh felt a strange feeling in her abdomen.
She felt pain that she never felt before.
She stopped eating and clutches jaiwnata's left arm.
Jaiwnata too stops eating and looks at Ajabdeh's expression who was trying to maintain it.

" Ajab... What happened..? "
Asked Ranima in a low tone

" I don't feel good Ranima... "
Says Ajabdeh as her forehead starts to sweat and her face becomes pale

Jaiwanta sense Ajabdeh's uneasiness.

"ohhh I forgot I have a very urgent thing to ask you Ajabdeh...
Pls come with me ... "
Says jaiwnata getting up from her seat

Ajabdeh manage to say with a low tone

The pale face of Ajabdeh was noticed by everyone and kuwar Pratap immediately stopped eating and wanted to follow the duo...

"Kuwar Pratap finish your food first...Hansa will come with me.."
Says jaiwnata

As both her mother take Ajabdeh to her room.
Ajabdeh slowly sat on her bed as she let out a cry...

Says jaiwnata as Hansa Bai ji gives her water

Says Hansa pointing at Ajabdeh's lehenga

Says jaiwnata smiling and hugging her

Ajabdeh is confused and looks in the mirror only to see a red spot at the back of her lehenga....

"Ranima....ma...."
Cries Ajabdeh

"Ajab ajab...don't cry theres nothing to worry....you have grown up..."
Says jaiwnata

" Yes Ajabdeh you have become a women today and it's a sign that your body is ready to embrace the womenhood..."
Says Hansa

"change your clothes first then we will talk about it..."

Says jaiwnata walking back to kitchen to assure everyone as she knows her son would be worrying too much.

"Don't worry Ajabdeh is fine...she just needs some rest.... everyone eat your breakfast peacefully..."
Says jaiwnata

Sajja Bai ji looks at Jaiwanta who gives her a nod.

"Jija.....
Congratulations I am so happy..."
Says sajja hugging her

"What happened ma..?"
Asked Shakti

"Oh nothing kuwar ji....
I am happy that Ajabdeh is fine.."
Says sajja following jaiwnata

kuwar Pratap and Shakti eats their breakfast confused.
And was told to focus on their daily routine when they went to see Ajabdeh.

"I don't understand Shakti..."
Says Pratap while swinging his sword at him

"Yes bhai....I don't know what happening...."
Says Shakti

"They are not letting me meet her while I'm her soon to be husband..."
Says Pratap making a face

"I'm her best friend still..."
Says Shakti copying his reaction

Both the brothers laugh at each other and continue their practice.

Ajabdeh's room...

Ajab has changed into simple and comfortable clothes and she is now sitting on her bed while hansa and Jaiwanta are explaining her about this sudden change in her life.
Sajja Bai ji is caressing Ajabdeh's hairs.

"Ajab my dear...no need to be sacred this is natural and every women has to face this at some point of life....it's an indication that now you have grown up....
You are ready for your womenhood and to be a mother..."
Says jaiwnata Bai ji

"Yes Ajabdeh
It's a gift and transition from a girl to women...
Your body is now ready to carry a child.... That's why it prepares itself every month to carry a baby and blood lining comes out when it's not needed.. "
Explains Hansa Bai ji

" Yes Ajabdeh being a mother is a beautiful feeling and I am so happy that now you are ready for that... "
Says sajja Bai ji

" Yes Ajabdeh me and hansa were just discussing about your periods earlier and I'm so happy that you got them before your marriage itself...now you don't need to come back to stay in Bijolia for your gauna..."
Says jaiwnata happily

" So there's nothing to be worried about in this..?"
Asked Ajabdeh confused

" No Ajab....
It's completely natural
You may feel some discomfort in the beginning because your body is undergoing some changes but eventually you will accept it..."
Says jaiwnata

" Yes Ajab... It indicates that you are mature enough to start your married life with your husband.."
Says Hansa as Ajabdeh gets shy realising her meaning while all the queen laughs

" Thanku Ranima..,ma and manjli ma...I am so glad you are here otherwise I would have been so scared..."
Says Ajabdeh

" Oh my dear we are always here for you..."
Says the three mothers lovingly

Ajabdeh smiles happily at how she is so lucky to have not just one but 3 mothers now...

*NOTE: gauna is a ritual followed if a girl is married before she got her periods , so after marriage she will be sent back to stay with her parents untill her periods come.
Only after getting her periods can a girl finally start her married life with her husband.*
