*Cyno's POV*
To be honest, thinking about the whole Akademiya and all the students yesterday left me in a pretty bad mood this morning. You could say I got up on the wrong side of the bed. I put on my robe and tried to wear my beret, but no matter how I positioned it, something felt off, something was still wrong. Don't blame me, okay? I told you I got up on the wrong side of the bed.
I stuffed the beret into my bag, fixed my hair, ate breakfast, and left my room, locking it behind me. I started looking for Alhaitham and Kaveh, but I couldn't find those two idiots anywhere. I figured it would be easier for the three of us to look for our classrooms together, and I swear by the Dendro Archon, this place is as big as an elephant's ass, and I haven't even seen a single schedule posted anywhere. It was pissing me off...
Finally, I found my two friends and approached them.
- Hey! Do you know where your classes are? - I asked.
I expected a response like, "We have no clue because we can't even find the class schedule," or "We don't know, so let's look together, what do you say?"
Unfortunately, my hopes were dashed when I saw that both Kaveh and Alhaitham were holding some papers in their hands.
- What's that? - I asked immediately.
- The class schedule. - Alhaitham replied.
- We got them yesterday. - Kaveh added. - Older students handed them out during the meeting they told us about when we were unpacking our things in the room. The director asked them to do it. -
No wonder there's no schedule posted anywhere, since everyone gets theirs individually. Of course, only I didn't know because no one even told me! How am I supposed to find my classroom now if I don't even know where my group is?
- You got yours too, right? - Kaveh asked, noticing that something was off.
- Of course I did. It's in my bag, - I lied, not in the mood to hear a lecture about how I could lose a schedule THAT I NEVER EVEN GOT...
- Where are your classes? - I changed the subject, trying to get out of this situation without admitting that I was completely lost.
- I've got Basics of Architectural Design in Room 117 on the second floor, - Kaveh said.
- And I've got Advanced History on the first floor in Room 51, - Alhaitham replied with a slight smile.
Great, at least now I know which two rooms I don't need to check. Room 117 and 51. That really helps me a lot...
I pretended to rummage through my bag as if I were looking for my schedule, but in reality, I was trying to hide my growing sense of frustration. How is it possible that everyone, literally everyone, knows what's going on, and I feel like a complete idiot? Cyno... You need to get it together...
- I think we should get going, the break ends in 5 minutes. - Kaveh said, glancing at Alhaitham, who nodded in agreement.
- See you later, Cyno. - Al added, and the two of them headed toward their classrooms, leaving me to figure out this mess on my own.
I looked at one of the students passing by. I noticed a badge with a red peacock on his beret. Yes, he was from Spantamad. Maybe today is my lucky day!
I ran up to the guy.
- Hey. What year are you in? - I kind of jumped on him, hoping I didn't scare him.
- First..? Sorry, do we know each other? - The stranger asked.
- No, but I wanted to ask for your help. We're in the same class, and I need to know where we're supposed to go, but I didn't get the schedule. - I explained myself like an idiot, and the guy I had approached didn't even stop, just kept walking, so I followed him, continuing to explain the situation.
