ANIJAH GRABBED TWO pairs of cargo jeans before dropping it into the buggy. she pushed it down the aisle and made her way to the register to pay for her things. the soft pop music played in the speakers of h&m as she passed by civilians.
she walked out of the store, deciding which store in the mall she should go to next. it had been two days since she last talked to kyrin and basically politely kick him out her home.
he called and texted but he got no answer. anijah was distracting herself by shopping and purchasing things she didn't need. the heavy bags weighed her arm down making her grunt and reposition her bags.
her attention turned to 'victoria secret' and she immediately remembered she needed smell goods and underwear. she also wanted to find a cute lingerie set.
she walked in and went towards the panties and picked out 10 pairs that caught her eye since the store had a 10 for 35 sale. "these are cuteee." she muttered, speaking to herself.
anijah always was caught up on sales, especially for her favorite stores. anijah loved victoria secret down. she had multiple two piece sets and her favorite scent, bare vanilla.
she was know observing the new scents that were put out neatly on the shelf with a large sign that said "2 for 15". a smile formed across her face as she smelled each of the bottles decided which one to get.
one thing about anijah, she was definitely going to smell good. she always got compliments on her fragrances which made her day.
"mmm this one or this.." she spoke, not being sure of which mist to buy. finally coming up with a decision, she grabbed the two bottles, followed behind two more and dropped them into her basket.
she sighed at how long the line was but seeing that she needed the items, she stood in line anyways. she checked her notifications and watched tiktok while she waited.
finally she was at the register and she put her items on the counter and watched as the slim black woman ringed up her items. "okay, the total is 75.86." she woman said with a tight smile.
anijah nodded and reached in her ourse to retrieve her card. before she could pull it out, a voice spoke behind her. " i got it." kyrin mysteriously came up behind her.
"what? you don't-" anijah said before turning her head to see who offered to pay and immediately stopped talking. she wasn't ready to have a conversation with him yet.
