For years he thought they'd grow together, he kept his distance as he thought they have the rest of their lives with each other. He lived his life and he let her live hers. He was too caught up in his life that he couldn't see her getting distant. He couldn't see her eyes started to look for someone else. Her promises to never leave and to always love him were the truth but only for a while. Once he found out that what they built didn't last he broke. Like shattered glass, no matter how you put it back together it'll never be the same. Why did she promise her whole life with him but take back her promise and leave for someone else. He cried every night for the person who he thought would stay and fill the void. Now he stares into the same stars they did as she fell in love again. When he sleeps, he will dream of her, always her who he can never see again.
