And they became official. He asked and she said yes. He wished them happiness and said his goodbyes to her. He visited her one final time, they reminisced, they tumbled around, like the debutante dance he danced with her. He touched her lips one final time. He tried his best to let her go, tried his best to finally close his heart but the way she looked at him, still wanting a connection tore him apart. She couldn't see how badly he wanted to be with her. He would rather lose everything in his life than lose her. But when he looked in her eyes again he saw there was no love anymore. No room for him in her heart. Why couldn't he be happy with her, he pondered. Why could life be this cruel. She led him outside her house one final time, waiting for the person she really wanted to be with. And the boy's time finally started moving downwards. His downfall has begun, his self-loathing strong pushes him down to the darkness. It is too late for him, he has told her he let her finally go. But he'll be waiting even if takes forever. He refuses to eat a normal meal because he knows he isn't normal anymore not without her. He will wait, pass the time with distractions, but he will wait for her to love him back. He then realised, this must be what dying feels like
