(It's a cold afternoon on a snowy island called Silver in one of the only villages called SilverStone.)
(The people of SilverStone are wondering around and trying to get to their work places and kids are playing in the snow.)
Everyone is poor and can barely make a living, two girls in particular are sent by their parents to a store to buy something special.)
???: Hurry up now girls, we don't have all day.
(They walk outside the door and start going towards the direction of the store but before they could get down the steps, the girl's mom stops them.)
???: Aura Auryn, come here!
Aura: Yes ma'am?
???: As you know, it's Natsuki's birthday. Don't let her see whatever present you decide to get her.
Aura: I know mom.
(Aura's sister Natsuki calls to her because she's too excited to wait.)
Natsuki: Hurry up Aura, I want candy!
Aura: I'm coming. See you later mom, I love you.
???: I love you too. Now please hurry up, it's getting darker by the second.
(They hurry off to the store.)
(Natsuki happily skips along the sidewalk, while Aura walks hastily behind.)
Aura: Slow down Natsuki!
(She stops and waits for her.)
Natsuki: Sorry, I'm just very excited! I just can't wait to turn 18!
Aura: You're already 18. We just haven't celebrated it yet.
(Natsuki sees the store while they're talking and runs of towards the entrance.)
Natsuki: Last one there is a cold snowball!
Aura: Cold snowball? Don't you mean rotten egg- anddddd she's gone.
(Aura catches up and also enters the store.)
Natsuki: Finally! Look at all this sweet candy!
Aura: We don't have much money, so don't buy a lot.
Natsuki: No promises!
Aura: I'm serious, we need this money. I'm gunna go over here, you stay here.
(Natsuki pays no attention to Aura as she is too distracted by some chocolate.)
Natsuki: OMG chocolate!!
Aura: ...
(Aura looks around the store, trying to find the perfect gift for her sister.)
Aura: Hmmm...
(She sees some cool winter clothes and goes to check them out.)
Aura: Dang, I don't have enough for this. Hmm... what about this...
(Aura spots a white Crystal Necklace as she passes through aisles.)
Aura: Woah, look at this!! She'd love this!
(While she's distracted, Natsuki calls for her.)
Natsuki: Aura? What are you doing over there?
Aura: Uhhhh... nothing!
(She quickly and nervously hides the necklace behind her back.)
Natsuki: I'm ready to check out now so come on.
Aura: Okay I'm coming.
(They go to the check out line and Natsuki pays first then waits outside.)
Natsuki: I'll be waiting outside for you.
