Chapter 5 Lei

I'll be switching between the three main characters in this chapter,

Lei POV

My head hurts really bad, i wonder what happened with that weird man, but i was probably just hallucinating. I tune in to my surroundings using my physical senses, and this whatever it is I'm on feels light, and soft, kind of fuzzy when i move my hands around, it smells flavorsome, but in a way there are two distinct type of smells, one is the same i smelt before, and the other one is fruity-lemon but together they smell authentic, savory, and like home, if i were to ever have one.

But wait a second, last i checked i was in my room, so how am i on this cloud-like comforter? unless that man kidnapped me!

Oh no..

I use my ears to further see if I'm home or kidnapped, and i hear buzzing noises, which is weird because i usually only ever hear silence, unless Renn is squeaking about something, speaking of him, where is he? I should've heard him squeaking by now. i bust open my eyes and immediately am taken aback by the blinding white lights above me, so i rub my eyes, feeling a wire on my arm, i start to panic, and soon I'm going to have an anxiety or panic attack.

I sit up quickly looking at my left arm i see a wire in it and follow it to a bag with red liquid, and behind it is a huge window, there are people in the distance walking, but they're tan and peachy colored, not pale like vampires which only means one thing... werewolves!!

I feel the fear settle in again,  my breathing barely coming out, i feel like someone put a bag over my head, i lean over and cough hoping this will help me breathe but with no luck the tears come out, and when i look to my right, i see a white door, and diagonal from me is another room, with a weird seating thing, and a curtain hanging beside it.

In a hastily manor i pull out the wire from my left hand and try standing but no use as my body gives out due to the lack of air and sight. Still collapsed on the floor barely breathing, and coughing more than i probably should be, shoes appear in front of me, and quickly the person drops to their knees, as I'm bent over with my legs tucked under me, the persons hand rubs my back.

Causing a shocking jolt that has me now shaking violently, scooting away just as quickly as it had came, i turn my head to the bed, crawling underneath it.

Augustine POV

When Mateo told me we had another mate, i was shocked, and since this was during the war against our used to be enemies I didn't know what to think. So I followed his scent inside of the house, since the fighting was over and we killed the vamps king and Queen, but not the daughter so we could question her. I saw almost all of his upper half was in this small storage room underneath a black staircase, that any stranger wouldn't notice if just passing by.

Running closer to him I was hit with an intoxicating scent, that wasn't Mateo's in the slightest cuz damn this person smelt like cherries, expensive wine, and sweet savory sweets. Omg my head felt like it was being flooded with endorphins when my wolf literally screamed MATE, to which I growled at him, cuz he ruined the mood. Nonetheless, I knelt beside Mateo's thighs waiting for this delicious mate of mine- ours to come out.

Mateo slowly scooted his big ass outta the room, and when he finally emerged my eyes set on a beautiful porcelain doll-like girl, her hair was thick with waves, and a red-velvet color that from the front covered half of her face and all around her head, i reached out and pushed her hair back revealing a button nose, big plump lips, and round eyes that were closed, but they were also a puffy red, and it seemed like her brows were furrowed just a tiny bit. Damn was she gorgeous.
