Back on deck, the crew was starting to prepare to depart. A small alien on the mast looked through his six-eyed spyglass. "We're all clear, Captain!" he waved. Amelia and Mr. Arrow were at the steering wheel with the driver and Delbert, who was looking around. "Well, my friend, are we ready to raise this creaking tub?" she smiled at him, and he bowed to her as she returned the gesture. "My pleasure, Captain." Then he turned to the crew, "All hands to stations!" The crew rushed to the shrouds. "Smartly now!" Jim and Y/N came out from the galley, and Jim watched the crew running about. "Come on, you scurvy scum! I'll race ya!" a female alien with hands for feet challenged as they climbed up towards the sails. They all made it to the top. "Loose all solar sails!" They held onto the rope, and slowly the bright sails were released. Jim watched from below, and an alien bumped into him as he pulled the rope. The R.L.S. started to leave port in the sky.

Jim walked over to the side of the ship and looked over to see the port getting smaller. "Heave up the braces. Brace up!" Mr. Arrow shouts, and the sunlight hits the sails, charging the ship. Jim came over to where Y/N was checking the power coming down the pole, where an awaiting alien gripped the switch as he watched the three vials of power slowly fill up. He watched the power come down, and Y/N turned to him with a smile, her hand on her hips. "The power leads down to the booster. It's when the ship will start to move." Jim gave her a smile, and all of a sudden, they started to float. Y/N was still a bit, her hand still on her hip, as Jim waved his arms around when gravity left the room. "Relax, or you'll float away, Hawkins," Y/N chuckled against her fist as she was mere feet above the floor.

Delbert gasped when he started to float, while Amelia, Mr. Arrow, and the driver were unfazed. "Mr. Snuff, engage artificial gravity." Snuff turned to her, saluted, and pushed a lever button. A wave of pink and purple light covered the ship, making the machine spin, and gravity was welcomed back. Y/N landed on her two feet, and Jim was crouched, as he was a bit dazed and amazed. Y/N chuckled at Jim, making him smile at her. Although they couldn't say the same for Delbert, who crashed on his face, Amelia and Mr. Arrow landed softly on their feet. Amelia looked at Delbert and ignored him. "South by southwest, Mr. Turnbuckle, heading 2-1-0-0." She turned to the snail-like alien. "Aye, Captain. 2-1-0-0." He grabbed the handles with his tentacles, turning the wheel, and the ship set sail.

Y/N tapped Jim's shoulder and waved her hand for him to follow her. "Things will get bumpy," she said as she grabbed onto the shrouds, climbed on them, and leaned against them. Jim followed her, leaning against the shrouds next to her. "Is this safe?" Jim asked as he glanced at the smiling engineer. She let out a soft scoff-laugh, "Nope!" Jim gripped onto the ropes. Back on the steering wheel deck, "Full speed, Mr. Arrow, if you please." Mr. Arrow grabbed onto a tube leading down below. "Take her away!" the purple, chubby alien grinned as he pushed the lever and the engines revved. "Brace yourself, Doctor," Amelia advised the Doctor, who was back on his feet. Wisely, but Delbert rolled his eyes, "'Brace yourself,'" he said snidely. Then the ship took off, and he flew backward. "Aah! Oof!" he exclaimed as he crashed into the back of the ship. Nails and screws fell out, and the back of his suit opened up, revealing three large batteries, while Amelia was unfazed and only felt a small breeze.
