I opened my eyes and looked around the unfamiliar place. I sat up on the bed in confusion, my head hurting and me not remembering anything of what happened before I found myself here. "Hello?" I asked out loud, hoping someone would just barge in and tell me that everything was okay. I sighed and held a hand to my head, thinking no one was here. Until suddenly I heard footsteps almost running towards the door to the room I was in. The door flung open and in came Callum Goffin, and then I remembered what happened. "Are you okay?" he asked sounding and looking genuinley worried for me. At that, something in me collapsed, and I couldn't take it. "I'm sorry." I said, suddenly tears in my eyes. He looked worriedly at me and quickly pulled me into a tight hug. "What are you sorry for? I'm asking if you're okay." he said confusedly, bowing down next to me so he could hug me. "I've just been so unfair to you, and--" I tried saying when he interrupted me. "No, it's okay. Just tell me if you're okay or not, please." he begged, hugging me even tighter. "No! Listen to me!" I shouted at him. He pulled away and looked worriedly and suprisedly up at me. "There was just something- wh- when I first saw you. Something in me just kind of snapped, and I- I don't know why... and to be honest, I think you're- I think you're fucking great, a- and I really don't know why I was so mean to you, c- can you ever forgive me?" I asked, him just staring into my eyes in shock. I noticed a single tear slip down his face and a grateful smile form on his face. He dropped down to his knees and wrapped his arms around my waist, hugging me again. He let his head drop down next to me. "Of course I can forgive you. 'Cause to be honest," he said letting go and looking up at me with a dumb smile. "I think I'd react the same way if I saw myself." he said with a laugh. "You know, 'cause I look like a huge fucking prick." he said with a laugh as he got up and sat down next to me instead. "No you don't." I said, wiping my tears and also laughing a bit now. "Oh come on. That's what you thought!" he said with a big smile and a laugh. "I'm never gonna escape that, am I?" I asked with a genuinley happy smile. "Nah." he replied, patting my shoulder gently. "But... uhm," I started to say. "do you think we can ever be friends... you know, after all of this?" I asked, now not smiling anymore, just feeling guilty. "Friends? Hah, you'd think we'd be something else after everything we've done." he said with a laugh. "Huh?" I asked, honestly not understanding what he meant. "Heh, nevermind." he laughed. "But yeah, of course we can be friends." he said smiling happily at me. I smiled and hugged him. I can feel that this is going to be a good friendship.
