LILY'S POV:
"One of the wizards most rudimentary skills is levitation..." our professor says, and I look at my feather. "or.. the ability to make objects fly!"
"Do you have your feathers?" He asks and some people nod, others hold theirs up. "Good.. now uh, don't forget the nice wrist movement we've been practicing, hm? Just swish, and flick!"
"Oh! And enunciate, Wingardium Leviosa. Off you go then!" The professor says, and everyone seems to struggle.
"Wingardium Leviosa," I say, and the feather starts to float. I move it to tickle Cadee's nose, and she giggles, swatting it away.
Hermione looks like she's having an argument with Ronald, and suddenly she rolls her eyes before casting the spell. Her feather of course shoots up, and everyone falls silent.
"Ooh, well done! See here everyone? Miss Grangers done it!" The professor exclaims, and I frown. Of course he says when Hermione does it, but not me. Cadee shrugs and gives me a knowing smile.
After class we all walk towards the great hall, and I keep making the cupcakes float and covering Cadee's nose with frosting.
"Oh stop it Lily! You know I can't do it, stop showing off." She says, hitting yet another cupcake on the table.
"You'll get it sooner or later Cadee!" I laugh, and she picks up a cupcake, shoving it in my face and putting frosting on my nose. "See, you're already starting to get me back!"
It was mid October now, and people had already started to plan their Halloween pranks, Halloween was a big deal at Hogwarts it seemed, and I loved it.
As we were walking back to our dorms for the night, I suddenly had a big idea to prank Cadee, all I needed was a hooded cloak...
"What are you thinking about. It better not be another Halloween prank." Cadee said as we got to the common room.
"Oh no, not at all a prank." I grinned and she crossed her arms as we sat on the sofa.
"You know I don't have any good ideas for pranks!!" She whined as I got a notebook out.
"You can steal some of mine." I say, as I write the big plan out. "Besides.. I only have one big one, the rest are only little ones!" I grinned, snapping the book shut.
"Fine, fine, just don't wake me up in the middle of the night to a jumpscare." She says, and I chuckle, she's in for a treat.
"So you're telling me, Halloween is a week away, and you have no pranks?" I raise an eyebrow.
She shrugs. "I'm not good with Halloween pranks, I can never think of them!" I laugh.
