Mario

I woke up to the sunlight peeking trough the curtains. I looked at the time next to me and saw it was past ten. I turned around and rubbed my eyes to get rid of the sleepiness and sighed. Marco had promised to call me yesterday evening, but he had not. I waited till midnight before I fell asleep. I didn't want to call him, maybe there was a reason he didn't call. I didn't want to bother him.
I got out of bed and made myself some breakfast.
I was just about to go to my room again when the door bell rang.
I walked towards the door and opened it to see Thomas.
"Hey, mate." He said, letting himself in.
"Good morning" I greeted back and closed the door.
He sat down at the table in the kitchen and I asked him if he wanted something to drink.
"Let's go into town" he suggested.
"What do you want to do there?" I sat down in front of him.
"Starbucks."
I laughed "yeah sure."
"Just a little bit fresh air. It's good for you!"
"I need to put something on first, okey?" I stood up and walked to my room. I put on a pair of jeans and searched for a shirt to go with it when I saw the cap Marco had given to me. It was one with the "s" from Superman in the front. I took it gentle from the shelf. 'Should I wear it?' I asked myself, then shrugged, 'why not?'
I grabbed a shirt and headed out of the room where Thomas was waiting.
We drove to Starbucks in his car and sat down at a table.
While I was eating my muffin he asked me if I liked it here in Munich.
"Yeah, I do." I said.
"Don't you miss the people at Dortmund?" He asked with a curious face.
"Well, I do actually. Some people mean much to me."
"I understand that. Who?"
I was about to answer when I saw one person walk into the café.
I quickly threw my wallet on the ground purposely and got down to reach for it, but I was too late. He had seen me.
