Ethereal in the moonlight,
Like a swan gliding in water
You seem to shine so bright,
The facade never falters
Your beauty comes at a price,
The haunting violin hides your cries,
Possessing scars never beheld by eyes,
Hidden under a silken guise.
Yet you don't stop dancing
Who knows what you could lose?
You don't care, even as you're hurting,
All for a pair of ballet shoes.
