//Hermione//

The grin on Percy's face disappeared for a split second. Then it was replaced by a small smile.

'And who would you be?' he asked.

'Rachel Dare,' she said, sticking out her hand.

'Percy Potter,' he said, shaking it.

Then Rachel ruined it. She slapped him lightly with her free hand.

'Some exclusive boarding school you go to, J-Potter. Of course it ended up being a school for magic!'

Hermione's eyes darted across the two of them. Clearly they both knew each other. But how? And she knew the humorous touch Percy loved to give to people. So he staged not knowing Rachel.

Hadn't Percy mentioned he lived in America for the summer... and wasn't Rachel from there too?

'Small world, isn't it?' Percy said cheekily.

'Small world indeed,' Rachel agreed. 'I'm visiting my cousins, I'm sure you know them... but what brings you here? And I know you've come with someone else, so spill.'

'Hecate dragged me here and I ran into my brother Harry.'

'Εκάτη, θεά της μαγείας?' (Hecate, goddess of Magic?) she asked.

The language sounded like Greek to Hermione, but she wasn't sure... she'd look it up at Hogwarts.

Percy nodded.

Rachel laughed. 'That's rich Percy! You actually let yourself get dragged along. Come on, let's talk outside, and we can call Hecate too, we'll have lots of fun together!'

She draped an arm around him and pulled him out of the tent.

'I'm not the only one who found that suspicious, right?' Ginny asked.

'Not at all. There's something going on between those three. Hecate was suspicious as it is, I'm so sure I've heard the name before. But then mixing it in with the connection they have is just... I don't know Rachel or Percy that well, but I don't think that knowing Greek is very common in America.'

Harry shook his head. Hermione could not decipher the expression of his face. 'Percy's told me about Rachel. Not much, but I know that they went to the same camp. Also, Percy's dad is Greek, and the camp does teach the language.'

Hermione's mind raced a mile a minute, searching through possibilities of what Percy might be hiding. Then she realised what the look on Harry's face had been. Hurt. He trusted Percy, Fred and George did too. That should be enough for all of them. For now at least.

Although the fire was yet to warm up, Mr. Weasley kept up a running commentary of all the ministry officials hurrying from in front of their tent.

It was fascinating to know about all the different job opportunities the ministry offered, from Experimental Charms to Unspeakables in the Department of Mysteries. Hermione sincerely wanted to know what went on inside there.

//Percy//

Rachel dragged Percy out of the tent.

'Spill,' she said, arms crossed on her chest.

'Can I call Hecate to plan my funeral first?' he asked.

'Yes.'

'Hecate!' he said loudly.

Said goddess appeared out of the shadows again.

'I'd like Lilies on my grave, please. And a nice quote. Don't let Annabeth or mom be too sad.'

Hecate rolled her eyes at his antics. Rachel bowed to her and then gestured at Percy to continue.

'So...' he started, 'You've met Harry, right? He's my half-brother. On mum's side. I'm a wizard and have been attending Hogwarts since I'm eleven. Any questions?'

'Yes, actually. You told me your name was Percy Jackson. Then why'd you introduce yourself as Percy Potter there?'

Percy scratched the back of his neck. 'Do I have to?'

'Well it would be most preferred if you did.'

He took a deep breath. 'Basically, I, Hecate and my mom decided that it would be easier for me to keep my identity in both worlds separate. I couldn't really be Percy Evans, because one, no offence to my mum, but that sounds weird, and two, because Lily Evans married James Potter and technically he blood adopted me too. So for the wizarding world I;m Percy Potter. As an added bonus, people believe me when I say I'm Harry's older brother. Any questions till here?'

Rachel shook her head. 'None. Go on.'

'This part is simpler. For the mortal or godly world, I am Percy Jackson, taking my mom's name, since she legally adopted me.'

'Cool. Thanks for the answers. So, I'm supposed to call you Potter here, am I?'

Percy nodded.

'Wanna go back inside?' he asked.

Rachel's only answer was dragging him to the other side of the tent where the others were standing.

Shorter chapter this time. Really sorry. But in my defence, I just got off from exams yesterday. So, I posted as much as I could since I did drop a message in my feed about it, but Wattpad didn't post it. And I'm hoping that I can get back to weekly posting from the next week. Which day of the week do you guys want chapters on? Also, Wrath of the Triple Goddess in now out! I'm going to get my copy sometime this week, I preordered it. So excited!
