I. Husband and wife.

I stood at the bottom of the stairs in the Cullen house. It was eerily quiet outside, but I could hear chatter coming from outside as the guests waited for the ceremony to start. My heart was pounding in the pit of my stomach as I fiddled with my bouquet of Orchids.

My mom came walking from the back of the house, where the bridesmaids and groomsmen were preparing to walk out. I let out a shaky breath when I saw my mom approaching. I knew it meant it was time.

"You ready?" She asked softly as she came to a stop in front of me, giving me a smile of encouragement.

"Yeah," I whispered as I nodded my head. My face felt flushed and my hands sweaty. I took another shaky breath, trying to calm my pounding heart.

"Are you scared?" my mom asked as she hooked her arm in with mine.

"Nervous," I replied softly, tensing when I heard the back door open. Footsteps echoed out of the house and I could hear the sound of faint music coming from outside. "Very nervous," I admitted as I nodded my head.

"It's normal to be nervous." She told me softly as she patted my hand. "Just remember, the man of your dreams is waiting out there for you. And I know in my heart, everything is going to be alright." She assured and I looked up at her, slowly nodding my head.

She started leading me through the house, and with every step, my heart pounded harder. My chest tightened and my stomach knotted. The back door opened and I felt my eyes grow teary as we walked down the porch.

We came to stand at the end of the aisle. My focus wasn't on my mother next to me, on the guest who stood and turned to face me, on the flower pedal aisle stretched in front of me, or the flowers hanging from the trees. My whole attention was completely captured by the beautiful man waiting at the altar for me.

All my worries disappeared as I met Edward's gaze. He smiled with pure fondness and adoration as he looked at me. I felt a tug on my heart, and I smiled, knowing it was his own emotions reacting to me.

My smile grew with every step I took closer to Edward. The wedding march was played softly by a live orchestrated band. As we reached the end of the aisle, I turned to my mother and she softly kissed my cheeks before taking my flowers.

I turned back to Edward, and he took my hands in his as I stepped up in front of him in front of the altar; the minister, standing in front of us, turned to the guests who sat back down on their seats.

"You look beautiful," Edward whispered, thumbs brushing softly over my hands as he smiled fondly, his eyes refusing to stray from me.

"You look handsome," I replied softly and both our smiles grew.

The minister cleared his throat as he looked between me and Edward before turning to the guests. "Ladies and gentlemen, we are gathered here on this glorious day to witness the union of Edward Anthony Masen Cullen and Anastasia Mae Moore," he spoke and I nervously squeezed Edward's hands. "The couple has written their own vows and will say them while exchanging the rings."
