V. Monster.

It was a little later when we finally docked at Isle Esme. Edward insisted on carrying all the bags, and I only carried my shoes as I followed him towards the two-story house. As we stepped onto the front porch of the house, nearing the large glass front doors, Edward dropped the bags and approached me, scooping me into his arms.

I laughed softly as I wrapped one arm around his shoulders. "Is this totally necessary?" I mused softly as I raised my eyebrows at him.

Edward hummed as he nodded his head, returning my smile as he approached the glass front door. "I am nothing if not traditional," he replied and I playfully rolled my eyes. As we got to the doors, I reached out for the handle and pushed the door open. Edward carried me across the threshold before placing me back on my feet. "You wanna take a look around?" he asked and I nodded.

The house was absolutely stunning. It was similar to the Cullen house, with large open windows covering every wall. All the furniture was either a dark brown, light brown, beige, or white color. It had such a warm and comfortable feel to it.

"Oh my God, it's so beautiful," I said softly as I walked around, admiring everything. I walked through the living room, running my hand across the back of the plush beige couch.

Edward came up behind me and I turned around to face him as his hands rested on my hips. "Do you wanna go for a swim?" he asked as he raised his eyebrows.

I gave him a lazy smile as I nodded my head in agreement. "Yeah, that sounds nice," I confirmed before pressing a soft kiss to his lips. "I could use a few human minutes first," I told him as I pulled away at arm's length.

Edward returned my smile as he nodded his head. "Don't take too long, Mrs. Cullen." He warned me playfully as he gave my hips a gentle squeeze.

My heart swelled as I looked up at him, my smile soft and my eyes sparkling. "I'll never get used to you saying that," I whispered as I slowly shook my head.

"I'll never get used to saying it," he whispered before leaning down and peppering small kisses to my lips that had me grinning from ear to ear.

I went to the bathroom as Edward brought our luggage in and I changed into a white bikini that Alice had packed for me. I rushed my hair, retouched my makeup, and made sure I didn't miss any spots when I had shaved the previous morning. After drowning myself in deodorant and perfume, I went outside.

Edward was already in the ocean water, watching me as I approached. I gave him a showy twirl that made him laugh, before I slowly went into the water. As soon as I was close enough, his arms snaked around my waist and pulled me closer. "You're so beautiful."

I hummed softly as I wrapped my arms around his shoulders, playfully nodding my head in agreement. "Yeah, you're a very lucky man." I teased him.

"Indeed I am." Edward agreed as he nodded his head. He pressed a soft kiss to my lips as one of his hands came up and tangled into my hair. I pressed my lips harder against his, deepening the kiss. After a few seconds, Edward pulled away and looked down at me. "I promised we'd try. If this doesn't work..." he muttered softly, not finishing his sentence.
