Adrian Hayes couldn't shake Dominic Russo from his mind. Every time he closed his eyes, all he could see was Dominic—eyes closed, mouth slightly open, pure pleasure written on his face. Each thought sent Adrian into a spiral of arousal, his body betraying him with a raging hard-on that he'd have to deal with over and over again. It was getting to the point where sleep felt impossible. That night was no different. He was half-shocked when Dominic had actually followed through and texted him after their strange encounter, but it also gave Adrian a twisted sense of satisfaction. It made him happy. At least now, he could tease the mafia boss even more. Adrian knew Dominic had likely dug up his background by now—it was textbook for someone like him. Still, that didn't stop the rush Adrian felt when he realized Dominic had fallen into his game.Rolling over in bed, Adrian gave up on the idea of sleep. He picked up his phone, saw the message Dominic had sent, and felt a wicked smile spread across his face.**Dominic Baby Boo:** *I'm home.***Detective Daddy:** *Good boy.***Dominic Baby Boo:** *Do not call me that.***Detective Daddy:** *Why not? A good boy always deserves praise, don't you think? Or would you prefer a treat instead of praise?*Adrian hit send, his grin widening at the thought of how Dominic might be reacting. He knew he was pushing boundaries, teasing a mafia boss like this. But the more dangerous the game, the more exhilarating it became. Would Dominic be furious? Probably. Would he try to kill him? Possibly. But the risk was part of the thrill. At least, if things went south, Adrian would have a hell of a story to tell.Meanwhile, Dominic stared at his phone, his jaw tightening. If he weren't so composed, he'd probably be blushing. Why was this detective so hell-bent on toying with him? Worse, why did it work? The things Adrian said hit a nerve—one he kept tightly under wraps. His submissive tendencies were a well-guarded secret, known only by his most trusted confidant, his second-in-command. There was no way Adrian could know about it... unless his best friend had talked. But no, Dominic trusted him with his life. It had to be a coincidence. Still, he couldn't shake the unease that Adrian had found his weak spot.Trying to regain control of his thoughts, Dominic typed a reply. Before he could hit send, his phone rang. It was Adrian. His stomach did an involuntary flip as he stared at the screen."Hey, Dominic," Adrian's voice came through the line, casual but with that ever-present teasing undertone. "What's up?"Dominic hesitated for a second, collecting his thoughts before speaking. "Detective Hayes, I hope I'm not interrupting anything important."Adrian chuckled, shifting in his seat. "Not at all. Just buried under a mountain of paperwork. What's on your mind?""I was hoping we could have a little... chat," Dominic replied, his voice smooth but carrying a dangerous edge. "There are a few things I think we need to discuss face-to-face."Adrian's pulse quickened. Despite their playful, flirtatious banter, this felt serious. The tension between them was palpable, and this call was about more than just teasing. "What kind of things?" he asked, his tone careful."You'll understand once we meet," Dominic said. "Let's meet at The Velvet Lounge in an hour. We can talk privately."Adrian looked around the precinct. His colleagues were all going about their business, none of them knowing the tangled mess he was stepping into. "I'll be there," he said, his voice steady despite the growing anticipation in his chest."Good. I'll see you soon, Detective." Dominic's voice was laced with satisfaction before the line went dead.Adrian let out a slow breath, looking at his phone where Dominic's contact name was saved as "Dominic Baby Boo." He laughed quietly to himself. He had been playing a dangerous game with Dominic, but it was clear now that the stakes had just been raised. Whatever was about to happen at The Velvet Lounge wasn't going to be just another teasing conversation. Adrian could feel the gravity of it all, and yet, the thought of it only excited him more.He grabbed his coat and left the precinct, walking out into the cool night air. The Velvet Lounge wasn't just some random meeting spot—it was a known hangout for people like Dominic, a symbol of power and secrecy. Adrian had been there before on undercover assignments, but this time felt different. This time, the line between his professional duty and his personal interest was completely blurred.---An hour later, Adrian entered The Velvet Lounge, his eyes scanning the room. It was dark and filled with the low hum of chatter. The bar was packed with people who all had something to hide, from shady businessmen to gangsters like Dominic. It was the perfect place for a discreet meeting.Adrian spotted Dominic in a corner booth, his posture relaxed but his eyes alert. There was something about the way Dominic held himself—like he owned the world but didn't mind letting you think otherwise for a minute. His dark hair was slicked back, his tailored suit sharp as ever, but there was a tension in his jaw that told Adrian this wasn't going to be just another playful encounter.Adrian approached, sliding into the booth across from Dominic. "You look tense, Dom," he said, smirking. "Something on your mind?"Dominic's eyes flicked up, locking onto Adrian's with an intensity that made Adrian's stomach tighten. "You don't know when to quit, do you, Detective?" Dominic said, his voice low and dangerous.Adrian leaned back, spreading his arms along the back of the booth. "Why would I? You seem to enjoy the game as much as I do."For a moment, Dominic said nothing, his gaze piercing. Then, finally, he spoke. "You've been digging into my life. Testing boundaries. Playing with fire. Do you have any idea what kind of danger you're in?"Adrian's smirk didn't falter. "I think I know exactly what kind of danger I'm in."Dominic leaned forward, his voice dropping to a near whisper. "You should be scared, Hayes. If I wanted to, I could end you right here."Adrian's pulse quickened, but his expression remained calm. "You could try. But I'm not the one who's scared here."Dominic's jaw clenched, his fingers drumming against the table as he tried to suppress the frustration bubbling up inside him. Adrian was right. For all the power Dominic wielded, it was the detective who had somehow found a way to get under his skin—to strip him of his usual control. It infuriated him, but it also excited him in ways he didn't want to admit.Adrian watched Dominic closely, noting every subtle shift in his expression. He could see the internal struggle in the mafia boss's eyes, and it thrilled him. The power dynamic between them was constantly shifting, and Adrian reveled in the uncertainty of it all. Finally, Dominic exhaled, leaning back in his seat. "You're playing a dangerous game, Adrian," he said, his voice softer now, almost resigned. "And you don't even realize how high the stakes are."Adrian shrugged, his smile widening. "Maybe. But that's what makes it fun, isn't it?"Dominic stared at him for a long moment before shaking his head, a small, grudging smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. "You're impossible.""Maybe," Adrian said, his voice dropping as he leaned in closer, "but you can't stop thinking about me, can you?"Dominic's eyes darkened, and for the first time, Adrian saw the wall crack. "You have no idea what you've gotten yourself into," Dominic whispered, his voice low and dangerous.Adrian's heart raced, but he wasn't afraid. He was exactly where he wanted to be. "tomorrow we will meet here again" Dominic said  leaving .
