Since they had gotten back from the World Cup about a week earlier, not much had happened.

Mr. Weasley and Percy were rarely at the house. Every day seemed to have a Quidditch tournament of its own.

The night before they were to leave for Hogwarts, Circe's parents came to visit.

There was a knock at the door, and Mrs. Weasley squealed, running to greet her guests.

"Welcome in!" She greeted.

The kids were all in the living room, listening and wondering who Mrs. Weasleys guests could be.

"Oh, thank you, Molly, dear," a deeply feminine voice echoed through the burrow.

Circe's head shot up, a grin breaking on her face.

"Any time," Molly said.

"Now, wheres our girl?" A masculine voice said.

Circe hopped to her feet, beginning to run around towards the front door, but there they were. Her parents, turning the corner to see her.

"Hi!" Circe yelled with a giddy excitement, running forward to hug her parents. "Why are you here?"

"Just wanted to see our girl off before school tomorrow," her mother said.

"And make sure she had fun at the World Cup," her father added.

"Oh yes," Circe confirmed. "A lot of fun."

"And you're okay?" her mother asked with a more serious tone.

"Just fine," Circe said. "Just wishing I was a professional Quidditch player."

"That's not new," her father chuckled.

"Dora?" a voice asked from the stairs. It was Bill, a grin on his face.

Circe followed his gaze, finally noticing her sister standing a few feet behind her parents.

"Dora!" Circe called out.

"Hey there," she said, reaching forward and giving her a sibling hug (AKA the kind that you can tell means they're only doing it because the parents are in the room). Nymphadora then approached Bill.

"How are you?" she asked.

"Great," Bill said, still grinning. "Oh, Charlie will be so pleased."

That actually made Dora smile. Circe watched as Bill led her upstairs towards Charlie's room.

Circe led her parents and Molly into the living room, where she had been polishing her broom with Harry.

"Hi Mr. and Mrs. Tonks!" Ron greeted with a grin.

"Hello Ronald," her mother said, while her father gave him a handshake. "I hope you all had a good time at the Cup."

"And aren't too shaken, of course," Circe's father added.

"Of course," Hermione confirmed.

Circe's mother turned to her. "We won't stay long, but we had something to give you before school."

She handed Circe a bag, which Circe took gladly, beginning to pull out what was inside.

First, she pulled out a new Newt Scammander book about mythical beasts. Then there was a gift card for Honeydukes in Hogsmeade. And finally Circe began to pull out a beautiful dress.

She gasped as she pulled it out, admiring the light blue fabric, ruffles, and glitter that she held in her hands.

"It's beautiful!" Circe announced, looking up at her parents. "What is it for?"

They shrugged. "It was required on your packing list," her father said, then turning to Molly. "And I assume it said dress robes for the boys?"

Molly Weasley nodded. "Yes, indeed, it did."

"We're very excited to find out what it's for," her mother said.

Circe turned to Ron. "You don't think it's the same event that Bagman was talking about at the Cup, do you?"

He just shrugged.

Circe put the dress back in the back, running over to give her parents a hug.

"Thank you," she said.

They hugged her tightly.

"Well, we'd better be going," they said, beginning to say their goodbyes and make their way back out of the house.

Circe followed behind, and when they had just closed the front door behind them, she muttered: "Umm, mom?"

Her mother turned around. "Yes, dear?"

"You remember what the Death Eaters are, yeah?" Circe asked.

Her parents' faces dropped. "Well... yes," was all her mother could get out.

"Were they our family?" Circe asked.

Her mother could only nod.

"Could they still be our family?" she asked.

Her mother sighed, stepping forward and grabbing Circe's hands. "Don't you worry about those monsters. It's a good thing we don't speak to those people any more."

"Anymore?" Circe asked. "I never got to talk to them."

Her mother bit her lip as if holding back tears. She pulled her daughter in, giving her one final hug.

"Have a good school year, honey," she said, pulling away and grabbing her husband's hand.

Circe watched as they apparated away.

She turned, walking back into the house only to find Charlie Weasley and her sister whispering in excited voices.

"What are you two scheming?" Circe asked.

"Oh hush, Circe," her sister said as they scurried away towards the barn.

She rolled her eyes, walking back into the house.
