Her body crushing theirs as they both tumbled down the stairs. As she looked up, she saw Jungkook's face, his eyes narrowed in pain, his jaw clenched in a grimace. Y/N scrambled off him, realizing that they had both fallen down the stairs, her heart racing with fear.

"Oh my god, Professor! Are you okay?" Y/N exclaimed, helping Jungkook up, her hands shaking with worry.

Jungkook winced, clutching his hand, his face pale with pain. "I think I've broken my hand," he gritted out, his voice tight with agony.

Y/N's eyes widened in horror, her mind racing with guilt and regret. "Oh no, Professor! I'm so sorry!" she cried, feeling tears prick at the corners of her eyes.

Jungkook looked up at her, his eyes flashing with anger, his face twisted in pain. " Are you blind or can't see properly how you can do so carelessly "

Y/N felt a surge of guilt and regret, her eyes welling up with tears. She had been so focused on her phone that she hadn't noticed the stairs. And now Jungkook was hurt because of her.

"I'm so sorry, Professor," Y/N repeated, her voice shaking with sobs.

Jungkook expression softened slightly, seeing the genuine remorse on Y/N's face. "Just get me to the hospital, Y/N," he said, his voice a little gentler, his eyes still narrowed in pain.

Y/N helped Jungkook up, and they made their way to the hospital, the silence between them thick with tension. Y/N couldn't stop apologizing and feeling guilty for her carelessness, her mind racing with thoughts of what could have happened if Jungkook hadn't caught her.

When they arrived at the hospital, the fluorescent lights overhead seemed to hum in sync with Y/N's racing heart. The doctor confirmed that Jungkook had indeed broken his hand, and Y/N felt a wave of nausea wash over her.

As Jungkook was getting treated, Y/N sat outside the room, her eyes fixed on the floor, her mind replaying the events leading up to the accident. She couldn't believe she had been so careless, so oblivious to her surroundings.

After what felt like an eternity, Jungkook came out of the room, his hand wrapped in a cast, his face etched with pain and frustration. He looked at Y/N, his expression stern, but his eyes betraying a hint of warmth.

"Let's get one thing straight, Y/N," he said, his voice firm but low. "I don't want to see you using your phone while walking again. Do you understand?"

Y/N nodded ferventlyfeeling a surge of relief that Jungkook was talking to her again, his voice like a balm to her frazzled nerves.

"Yes, Professor. I understand. It won't happen again," she promised, her voice barely above a whisper.

Jungkook nodded, his expression softening slightly, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Good. Now, let's get out of here. I need to get some rest."

Y/N helped Jungkook out of the hospital, feeling grateful that he was okay, despite his injury. As they walked,Jungkook turned to Y/N and said "Go home, Y/N. It's already late. And don't bother coming tomorrow for tuition. It's Sunday, and I need to rest this hand."

Y/N nodded, feeling a mix of relief and guilt. "Okay, Professor. I'm so sorry again for what happened."

Jungkook's expression softened slightly, his eyes still clouded with pain. "Just be more careful next time.

Sometimes later Y/N trudged through the front door of her home, feeling a mix of emotions: guilt, worry, and relief. She couldn't shake off the feeling of responsibility for Jungkook injury.

As she flopped onto her bed, she couldn't help but think about the events of the day. She replayed the moment when she fell down the stairs, and Jungkook caught her, breaking his hand in the process.

Y/N covered her face with her hands, feeling a wave of guilt wash over her. Why had she been so careless? Why had she been so focused on her phone?

As she lay there, Y/N's mind wandered to Jungkook's injured hand. She hoped he was taking care of it, hoped he wasn't in too much pain. She knew she wouldn't be able to sleep until she made things right.

  Next morning

Jungkook rubbed the sleep from his eyes, his irritation growing with each repeated ring of the doorbell. Who could be visiting at such an early hour? He wasn't even fully awake yet!

He stomped to the door, his bare feet making soft slapping sounds on the floor ready to unleash his wrath on the unsuspecting visitor. When he opened the door, he was taken aback by the sight of Y/N standing there, a cute shy smile on her face.

"Good morning, sir... I mean, Jungkook," she said, her eyes sparkling with nervousness.
