Evelyn's POINT OF VIEW
Once I got back from the vet I put all my things away and cleaned up my room and changed into something a little less comfortable. Quickly I slipped on some black skinny jeans, replaced my sweater with a red leather jacket. It was a simple outfit. I grabbed my black boots, black gloves, and my bow and arrow. Just in case, I grabbed my mask and stuffed it in my pocket. Checking in the mirror, I realized that my plan is a little dumb. Scott and Stiles are going to think something if I suddenly appear out of nowhere in the woods. I can go and pay Derek a little visit. That's sounds like a safer plan. So I placed my bow and arrow back in its placed and headed downstairs.
Swiftly I took my keys and walked out of the house making sure I locked it and walked to the woods. It was still light out so I didn't need to bring my car. Stopping in the beginning of the woods, I looked around and checked if anyone was watching. My fangs extended and I could feel my eyes glow it's silver glow. I ran as fast as I could to Derek before the boys would encounter him. Once I found him I shifted back, before anyone could see the true nature of my eyes. I was different than any other werewolf. I'm an older generation of wolves. We are called the Forestrunners or Coureurs Forestiers. We are known to be the notorious starters of the famous legend. A beast who killed everything in sight. A beast who will forever be known as a beast with no name, claimed to the demons. The only one who knows the legend of the Beast of Gevaudan are the Argents.
"Hello Evelyn." Derek greeted ripping me out of my thoughts.
"Hey Derek. I see your snooping on the two boys. But may I add how you have Scott's inhaler?" I asked.
"Well, I was walking around and happened to prance upon it." Derek claimed.
I scoffed, "Yea happen to prance upon it my ass."
"Whatever, now why are you here?" Derek asked looking at me up and down.
"Can't I come to see how your doing. Is that so bad to see someone from my old pack? You may be older now but you still got that grumpy attitude." I responded, as I nudged his shoulder.
"Well, no. And stop being so whiny about my perspective on how to respond in situations. " He said dumbfounded. I actually was part of his pack but I left after my Master told me it was time to leave because we were leaving to Italy for another mission. I'm only "sixteen" and I've traveled more than anyone on this planet. Derek was one of the only people that I really got close to. Not just because I was in his pack.
"I know you must be a little mad that I had left Laura and you all alone, but I had to. My father's job dictates how many times he has to leave. That's also another reason I came to Beacon Hills. I heard about the death of Laura. I'm sorry, I should have at least given you a clue to prevent her death." I said as my eyes got a little watery.
"I never thought I would say this but its not your fault. I know you always saw Laura as kind of like your Mother figure. She saw you as her daughter. Laura cared about you, and if she was still here, she would tell you not to say that it's your fault just because of what you and only you believe is a curse to your life." Derek said giving me a heartwarming hug.
"Thanks, I needed that." I may be a monster but Laura was the closest I had to a mother, and I loved her very much. She was the first person that I found that I actually began to love as a family.
"Their coming," He told me before releasing me from the hug.
I looked at the boys and they were frozen in some sort of fear. Possibly for seeing someone who kind of disappeared off the face of the earth and a girl that they just met at school today, together just recently hugging.
