I found out that the Cross twins were due to inherit a nice chunk of the Cross estate from their father, they had to buy the companies here in Seattle to make it possible. They were also engaged to be married to two sisters and the weddings were the second part of the agreement. If they failed either they would not inherit for another two years. In which Gideon would be running their business and most likely wouldn't easily turn it over to them. He was basically screwing his nephews out of their inheritance with this master plan of his. The estate attorneys were thwarted by any attempts to stop him from doing anything to the boys. They have no direct proof but it's the only thing that makes sense. Dexter and Drew called me directly and we spoke at length. They were able to get their inheritance because of a loophole. They only had to buy two companies and get married, it didn't say what companies or how long the marriage needed to last and never mentioned annulling the marriages. So both parties are happy to get the annulments completed. Donald confessed to dad and gave up everyone involved. He was given 5 years probation after a year in prison. He asked not to be placed in the same prison with his co conspirators. They worked something out for him. We were shocked at the number of people involved and the money it took to pull all this off.

Gideon
I lost again to Grey and it could have costs more than I had even considered. They were willing to take half of everything the twins inherited. Community property states can be brutal and especially if the spouse doesn't work or have assets or property. A divorce would have given the Grey twins nearly a billion dollars in settlements and alimony. I knew trying to get that property would bring out the big guns and I had no option but to back down and take my medicine. I had to also allow the permits to go through or the divorce was going to be a huge news story and the money we would lose was outrageous. Christian turn the tables on us and got exactly what he wanted in the end included the two companies that I had an associate grab from him and the twins. I conceded and let him have them because he had pieced everything together but couldn't find any evidence that he could use in a court room. I always make sure there are no trails back to me. I don't get my hands dirty but I have my ways and my minions who have no idea who they are really working for. Christian is going to really torment me over this and if it were me I would not hesitate to pay him back. Dexter and Drew have just made the connections and are very angry at me. They can't do anything but keep away from me and get their act together and finally get some good security teams.

Dexter
I was warned about Gideon and now I am sure that everything they have told me is true even if there is no evidence to back it up. With his power and money he can get people to do his bidding bad or good if the money is right there are millions of people who would do as he asked. I will never trust Gideon after this incident. We had to finally get someone else to talk on our behalf to Carrick and Christian. I doubt the girls are really after half of everything, they don't seem the type. So when they asked for the annulment again without any bargaining we agree to their terms. We made sure Christian got his permits for the land. It was the least we could do since we are sure that Gideon set everything up for his own evil greedy purposes.

Drew
I am mad about what has happened to us and Gideon tried to hide the fact he nearly costs us half of our inheritance without giving a crap. He tried to use the fact that all four of us wanted out of the marriage to try to leverage things from the Grey family. After Carrick and Christian Grey got involved and started handling things their wives and families got involved and they are far bigger in numbers than we are. The twins just sat back and watched as it all was argued over. They were going to end up coming out of this better than they went in. The marriages weren't consummated. I still wonder who took our clothing off of us and I am sure they wonder as well.

Anastasia
I am finally able to relax and I took the girls shopping for new outfits and accessories to go with them for their job hunting. They don't want to work for the families companies. Neither inherited my talent for painting. I might not be a world famous painter but I do well with my pieces. I expanded into sculptures and they are really selling and there is a huge demand for more. The nativity scene was very popular and I did pieces with babies being held by their parents. I did busts of all our children and we keep them in our favorite room. Christian watches me create a lot and I love to see his face when it is completed. I hope that Rose and Ruth have learned to be in guard from this point on. Anything could have happened to them and they might have been sold or killed. Even with self defense classes they just don't have that primal instinct when danger is near. They need those rose colored glasses taken off their face so they can see clearly when dangerous people are trying to do something to her and the people with her. I guess I protected them from the cold cruel world too much.
