Roronoa Zoro stood surrounded by many marines in Captain Morgan's room.
Captain Morgan was sharpening his axed arm, but Zoro knew that he just wanted to intimidate him.
"I understand you sent four of my marines to the infirmary.", Captain Morgan said. "Without drawing a blade, might I add. Impressive."
"I didn't want to make a mess.", Zoro replied simply.
"Roronoa Zoro.", Morgan eyed him. "The Demon. Most feared pirate hunter in the East Blue. I'd say you live up to your reputation.", he glanced at Zoro's sack, which had a dead body inside.
"If it's all the same, I'll just take my money and go.", he said.
Captain Morgan smirked a little, walking down from his desk to him.
"You'll collect your bounty.
But the penalty for assaulting a marine is seven days strung up in the yard.
No food or water.""You can try to arrest me." Zoro challenged him. "But your brat will be the first one I'll kill."
"Hey!", Helmeppo yelled and looked at his father. "He can't speak to me that way!!"
Captain Morgan swung his axe hand, smacking his son in the face, sending him to the ground.
"I like you.", Captain Morgan looked at Zoro and circled around him.
We should be working for the same team.
You'd make a hell of a marine.""Kinda got my own thing going on.", he replied bluntly. "Doesn't leave much time for playing dress up."
The Captain stepped back from him with a displeased look.
"It's a shame to lose a man of your talents.
Since you won't be able to collect a bounty at any marine base once i get the word out."Zoro set his jaw, but Morgan wasn't done yet.
"If you take your punishment you won't be lonely."Zoro stared through him, unmoving.
"My son told me that the Unlucky Girl treated your drinks.", he said. "You know why they call her the Unlucky Girl?
She was born and unlucky and bring bad luck to the people she meets.
I knew i should've executed her a long time ago."Zoro's eyes narrowed.
"But i'm not an unreasonable man. So how about a deal?", Morgan smiled tauntingly before taking a step closer to Zoro.
"You can fight your way out of here but once i get a word out, you'll neverbe able to cash at another marine base.
But if you take the yard, I'll let you walk out of here.
Well, you won't be lonely either.
The unlucky girl has to be at thr yard for four days since she sympathised with a criminal."Zoro stared daggers at him.
"I'll take the yard.
Eleven days. Both crimes."Morgan looked surprised.
"You want to take her punishment as well?"Zoro lifted his chin and gave him a look that said that he was serious.
Morgan chuckled amused.
"Eleven days in the yard it is."~~☆☆~~
Christine came out of the kitchen with many cinnamon buns.
She placed two on a plate and went over to Luffy and his friend who were talking with each other.
"All right so....," Luffy started.
"I can't get inside the base through the gate... but maybe....
Maybe i can get inside flying?", he brainstormed."I can hold onto a bird or something." , he explained further and Coby looked at him incredulously. "That's a terrible idea.... keep your voice down."
