Today I finally got out of his house. I'm barely at my home because this nigga calls on me 24/7

We are shopping for home decor from Kayla's new apartment. She just moved in and needs a few pieces to make it feel like a home. Indy is helping her pick out some cute throw pillows and a nice area rug

while Yazari and I browse through the selection of wall art and decorative accents. It's so much fun spending the day with my girls, shopping and catching up on each other's lives. I'm glad to have this time to unwind and not worry about that needy guy back called my boss.

"Girl, look at this sofa - I want it so bad," Indy said, showing us the plush, modern couch she had her eye on. We all oohed and aahed, imagining how cozy it would look in Kayla's new living room. Kayla was hesitant at first, worried about the price tag, but Indy and I quickly assured her it would be the perfect centerpiece for the space.

With a smile, Kayla agreed and we flagged down a sales associate to have it delivered. I couldn't wait to see Kayla's apartment come together with that gorgeous new sofa as the focal point.

I know I shouldn't but I can't help but think about my boss back at the office. He's always so demanding and high-strung, never satisfied with my work. I wish I could just ignore his constant calls and texts, but he seems to have some sort of hold over me.

After several more hours of browsing, we're all laden down with bags of new home goods. Kayla is beaming, excited to get everything set up in her new place.
