Jai's POV:

After we sought our differences we have been living quite well like roommates, she's actually quite a good company I wonder why didn't I notice her before like how I notice her now, because before she was just a neighbour who was my mother's companion like she used to love talking to her and even my father was friendly and familiar with her maybe I just never noticed her just knew her as namesake, I knew her sister well and uncle as well because I used to take advice from uncle and akka so I kind of knew them more. Today we are going for lunch I wanted my friends to meet her as none knew I was getting married so none were invited Everyone was quite shocked and angry when I broke the news to them ,when I explained them the story behind it they understood and asked for a formal or informal introduction, Raj asked me that I'm introducing her to my friends does that mean I'm accepting her as my wife and did I start liking her ,I didn't quite have the answer for it yet, right now we are getting ready for the lunch, wearing my tshirt and jeans I went outside my room the next moment I was breathless she came out in a saree and her hair open and a little wet with droplets on her neck and collar bone ,her lips were lightly tinted and damn I was speechless and everything went silent around me I couldn't process anything she was looking gorgeous in that saree then, I heard a finger snapping sound which brought me back to senses then I answered her question that coffee is fine she was asking me about coffee. Damn jai you were stuttering just now what is wrong with you, and you got caught checking out , it's not a sin to checkout my wife is it "you're not ready accept her as your wife or that you like her you're ready to oogle her great" my consciousness mocked that's actually true though I do like her let's see the further developments. After a while we started to the restaurant and drove my car while listening to the songs that played on the radio I heard her sing faintly nice she sings as well do I even know anything about her except for my guesses, right I got to know more about her,that I need to keep efforts in. After driving for a while we reached the restaurant she got down, after parking the car I went to the restaurant, while walking I noticed she was checking me out now that's intresting, she didn't know that I caught her because I was wearing shades , something is there which I don't know I gotta know about it , we both went in and I introduced her to all my friends and as usual we started bickering, joking ,talking and Raj constantly pulling my leg that idiot was having lot of fun ,I was glancing at her time and again through my peripheral, the way she was laughing for the jokes she definitely is pretty and her smile is so warm, ugh I sound like such a lovesick puppy dear God!!! I wasn't affected this much when I had that crush on Abhignya as well, that's it I got a clarity that I like her more than any girl I liked before, I've gotta make her stay if she decides to go, I've got to do it. After a while she excused herself and went to the washroom, after few minutes we boy's went to the washroom as well and
S: so finally mr. Jai got married 😂😂
V:that too which has a story to tell although you were forced you got a nice girl man she's jovial
R: this asshole put her through some childish shit as usual whiny ass
S: if she's ready to put up with it what's your problem man
J: finally someone spoke on my side in the whole afternoon
S: I ain't supporting you just pulling Raj's leg
J: yeah I know!!
V: so what about your crush on Abhignya
R: right!!! Wasn't he crushing like crazy on her
S: and didn't confess because you didn't want to ruin your friendship with her and she would lose all of us too you know for obvious reasons
Breaking our conversation in between we saw jhanu exiting the washroom she might have heard the conversation this might help me a little I can observe how she's going to react to it breaking my chain of thoughts Raj spoke
R: would she misunderstand that you might have feelings for Abhignya
S:that is possible but do you like her why would you care about her misunderstanding
R: Sid when did you become so slow this guy was staring that girl through his shades the whole time!! and he actually introduced her as his wife can't you get the signs
J: how the fuck did you know!!
All of them started laughing out of the blue
V:mr. Jai is so in love 🤣🤣🤣 you revealed it yourself asshole he just threw a stone and you accepted it
R: exactly!!! 🤣🤣🤣 Caught red handedly jai !!! So you were staring at her
J: what's your problem if I stare my wife!!
R:ooo your wife intresting 🤣🤣😂😂😂
J: are you done can we go back now

We returned to our table and had our desert, and after that we all went our separate ways , it took us 1hr to reach our house, all this while she was pretty silent that means it did hit her nerve I wonder which one ,I guess it's jealousy definitely jealousy why would she be so off when everything was fine, does she like me in just this small duration when I was nothing but an ass how can she like me there is something more to it I guess, disturbing my chain of thoughts she asked if I wanted tea I said yes after a while she said the tea is kept on the counter and walked to the balcony I followed her taking my mug and sat next to her on the couch purposefully close the sky was in shades of pink and purple as it's evening time, I looked at her she looked much relaxed and one thought popped in my head I liked her hair open rather than braided without a second my hands acted on their own will
jai: I feel you should have left your hair open infact you should leave your hair open more
Saying that I removed the hair band and removed the braid and let the hair fall freely her hair cascaded over her shoulder and fell to the side covering her face I wanted to see her face if she was blushing or not then I put the hair strands behind her ear which were covering her face and said
Jai: and let me see you blush face to face, rather than stealing glances like you I would prefer face to face my dear wife
Now that was a scene to see she looked so cute while blushing she literally turned red and I wanted to pinch her cheeks rather I controlled the urge and gave her a smile. Seeing her reaction was fun now
