Chapter 23

~To~Chica~And~You~

"So, how'd you meet Y/n, Alex?" Alex had a thinking face on as they pulled out of Y/n's grandma's driveway. "Uh...." She said, trying to remember. "Oh, oh yeah! I remember!" Alex stopped at a stop sign, watching cars go by in front of them. "On the first day of school in first grade, I saw Y/n alone. Well, me and Nick did. Michael wasn't here yet."

Alex saw the last car go by, and went along, to the left. "Anyway, she was all alone, sitting there with no one. So we became her friends. And that was it, not really much of a story." Chica frowned. "What about Michael?" She asked. "Oh, uh, well, we met him already. He had just moved here in eighth grade, and was already popular. Taking on both the football team captain, and seducing most of the girls in the school."

The car stopped with a jolt. Alex paused, motioning for Y/n to finish the story, while she flipped off the guy in front of her. "Oh, um, even th-though he had all the fr-friends anyone could ask for, and a w-wide array of people to choose from, h-he wasn't happy. He had n-never experienced true friendship, a-and once, he was betrayed. He was d-drugged over jealousy by the football c-captain."

"What's drugs?" (Typical Chica) "They're either medicine that helps you feel better, or something bad, that can have negative side-effects with it, if you take it." "Oh." "A-Anyway, he was put on trial for drug p-possession. H-He pleaded innocent, but the j-judge didn't believe him. I saw it in his e-eyes that he was innocent so m-me, Alex, and Nick defended h-him. Eventually he w-was released b-because of our testimonies."

"And in the end, he asked to be our friends, because nobody would go near him after the trial. That's how we met him." Alex finished. "Oh...." Was all Chica said.

~Time~Skip~

After a while more, they pulled into Alex's mom's fro-yo shop. Only a few cars were parked inside, being a Sunday and all. Everyone got out of the cars, and met up in the parking lot. Y/n pulled Freddy aside. "F-Freddy, did everything go okay with you, B-Bonnie, Michael?" Freddy shook his head. "No, I won't lie to you, Y/n. Look, Michael mentioned something about mothers, jokingly, but...."

"B-But?" "But it got to Bonnie, they were about ready to kill each other before you called. Thank goodness for that. I don't think Bonnie would be able to stop himself." "Oh... th-that's what I was worried about..." "What do you mean?" "Frank! Y/n! Come onnnnnn!!!! Yogurt!!" Alex was calling them over. "Come on, just... d-don't make him mad... p-please." Even though confused, Freddy followed Y/n inside.

Once everyone ordered their yogurt, and a small chat with Alex's mom, they sat at a table for eight people. Well, they had to drag a chair to fit, but they still fit. Y/n sat in the middle on one side, with Bonnie on her right and Michael on her left. Freddy sat across from her, Chica sat to Freddy's right, and Alex on Freddy's left. Nick pulled up a chair, and sat to the left. (Imagine through your POV how it would look)

"So, how was your car ride?" Nick asked. "Fine. What about yours? It might have been a little awkward because of a certain thing." Alex said, wiggling her eyebrows at Y/n. Y/n blushed, and coughed into her napkin. Once she was done coughing, she looked at Chica "Y-You told her a-about that??" She asked. "What? Is it supposed to be a secret?"

Y/n face palmed. "Oh gosh, Caitlin... A-Alex can't keep a secret if you p-paid her a million dollars." Y/n muttered. "Oops, sorry Y/n." "Well hold on! What about the one about you liking-" "Don't s-say it!!" Y/n yelled, flustered. "I'll- I'll b-be right back..." Y/n said, getting up. Chica was about to follow Y/n, but Freddy motioned her not to. She nodded.

Y/n was in the bathroom. She made sure nobody was inside there before looking at herself in the mirror. She sighed and turned on the sink. She splashed water on her hands, and washed them, being sticky from the yogurt. Y/n dried her hands and looked at her reflection in the mirror. Y/n then saw Goldie, hugging her from behind. Y/n turned her head in fear and saw nothing.

"I wasn't kidding when I said I'll be back." Goldie said, in an eerie whisper, seemingly coming from all around the room. Y/n looked all around her, but couldn't find anything. "See ya soon, Y/n." He said, then seemingly left. Y/n was left there, shocked. Chica came in, looking worried. "He c-came back....." Y/n said, going over to Chica and hugging her.
