A really short solangelo story

A sly prank

Nico raced through the forest of camp half blood, holding the blue teams flag. Will was hot on his tail.

All he had to do was close the gap between him and the red teams flag, but he knew he couldn't outrun Will.

So Nico resorted to his last option: shadow travel. Sure it was a short distance, but if it meant winning, it didn't matter.

Just as Nico was about to disappear into the shadow of a tall oak, he felt a tug on his jacket collar, and he was yanked backward.

"Will what is the meaning of this!?" Nico demanded, as he craned his neck to get a better look at the person who grabbed him.

"I've told you thousands of times, no shadow travel. You'll end up getting killed one of these days." Will explained

"What are you going to do about it." Nico asked as he struggled to get free from Will's strong grip.

"How about this, if you shadow travel one more time, there will be dire consequences." Will decided

That gave Nico an idea. He grabbed Wills wrist, and shadow travelled to the Hades cabin.

The two landed beside each other on Nico's bed. Nico sat on top of Will, and traced the boys' jaw with his finger.

"I shadow travelled, now where is my punishment." Nico said seductively.

He didn't expect anything to happen so he waited for Will's reaction.

Will smiled slyly, grabbed Nico's wrist, and flipped them both over, so Will was now leaning over Nico.

"As you wish." Will whispered in his ear in a sly voice.

Nico felt his face grow hot, and he closed his eyes, waiting for something to happen.

All he heard was Will laughing. Nico opened his eyes and saw that the son of Apollo had rolled over beside him, and was laughing loudly.

"Relax I was just messing with you, but I am putting you on a two day house arrest." Will explained.

Nico stared in disbelief, and he was too shocked to speak.

"Neeks? Are you ok?" Will asked

"Yea." Nico managed "you just caught me by surprise is all." Then he remembered something.

"Hey Will?" Nico asked.

"Yea?" Will replied.

"Should we head back to capture the flag?" Nico asked

"Nah. We're both comfortable here and you look like your about to pass out." Will said.

With that, the two cuddled close to one another, and fell asleep in each other's arms, oblivious to the fact that Chiron had already gathered a search party for the two.
