after that whole fiasco, you and lumine ordered something solid to eat using alhaitham's credit card. ("ooh, rich boyfriend perk?!" "LUMINE." "sorry, i'm just saying.") lumine chose to order her usual dumplings while you picked to order shawarma wraps, your favourite food. a few minutes later, the delivery man showed up with your food, and the three of you sat down in the living room to munch.
"wait, alhaitham, you didn't order anything?!" you exclaimed, checking the bags and realizing none of the boxes had his name on it. alhaitham shook his head. "it's fine, i'm not hungry." scowling, you opened your food box and pinched a piece of the wrap. lifting the portion to his mouth, he watched you with confusion. "y/n, i just said i'm not hungry."
"not hungry my ass, just eat it!" you shouted. the grey-haired male pursed his lips before pulling the food from between your fingers. his face was neutral as he chewed for the first few seconds, before he paused. he sat up and looked at the bowl. "what is that?" he asked, thoroughly interested. lumine was already tucking into her dumplings, quietly observing the exchange.
"it's just a shawarma wrap. you should've bought something!" you lectured, eating more of it. alhaitham got up and plopped himself on the floor where you were and pinched a piece off before throwing it into his mouth.
