4. The Bridge Incident

It took me while to recover from the disease of Devin.... like seriously it conquered my mind like anything and it took me so much time to calm myself down and  not to overthink about that situation. I kept telling myself  " At that moment of time Devin just helped me not to fall and if in case there was some other guy in that situation he would also do the same thing what Devin did!!  " 

My phone rings..... i jumped to the other side of the bed to see whose calling.. oh it's Simran "hello Ava..." she said.... " hi Simran".... " how's life  she asks ??".... " hmm not very bad...." I exclaimed. then i go explaining about Devin's disease..... . obviously she was shocked to hear this !!.... She was like " That happens Ava.....It's fine just don't overthink so much... it's gonna be alright"..... her words just comforts me so much..... after talking to her i felt a little better and headed to my school.

all was going good and i had to go use the washroom and when i was inside the washroom and "thud....."  i heard the washroom door slammed and a girl came weeping.... i went out to see whose that and oh my god.... it's Simran...... i froze for a second and i go running to her asking what happened and she says weeping "Ava...... Christopher.....".  

" Simran what did Christopher do, tell me did he annoy you, did he hurt you or something..." i replied. She goes telling what Christopher did " Ava.. Christopher told me that he had feelings for me.... and....". " OMG Simran that's a really good thing... Chris.. is actually a very good and a charming guy " i said with a pleasant voice to make her feel comfortable . Simran replies " Ava... i know Christopher is a good guy, i really like him so much but the thing is that..... when he confessed to me i actually did not know what to do i was shocked and i did'nt know what to say so i scolded him so bad that he got really pissed and he went away".... " This is actually concerning Simran.... OK now listen to me.... U really like Christopher right...??" i asked. Simran replied " yesss...... Ava i really love Christopher so much ".  " Leave it to me Simran i will take care of this situation now stop crying , I'm here for you Simran" i told her and i wiped her tears.

On the other end Christopher is sitting so heartbroken in the class, talking to no one, not even Devin. Devin goes asking what's wrong and he shouts back at Devin. Devin gets to know that something is fishy with Christopher . Devin pulls Christopher to some other place and asks him" What's wrong Christie why are you so depressed.... is there something in which i can help you in". Christopher replies " Devin....." he cries out ....." Simran rejected me on my face dude.... I... don't know what to do...... she was too pissed by me..... i thought she liked me ..... now as she rejected me i don't know how to face her..... i don't wanna loose her dude,  at least i wanna be friends with her "..... he hugs Devin.." Would you help with this Devin" he asks Devin. Devin without hesitating pats Christopher's back to ease him to breathe. Devin replies " of course man i will always keep your back and help you out in this ". 

After a while Devin walks down to Ava and tells her Christopher's  problems  " Ava i need you to understand Christopher.... he really really loves Simran.... He at least wants to be friends with her.... Can you please help me out in this.... Can you please talk to Simran about  this  matter". I replied " Devin i know how much Chris loves Simran and the most important thing is that Simran also loves Chris the same way ....." . " OMG Ava that's a really good news to hear... i'll go tell Christie about this he will be very happy to hear this"..... I replied " NOO Devin your not telling this to Chris let's make them express their feeling with each other face to face.... ". "  But Ava how are we gonna do this..??" Asks Devin. I answered " Devin i have a plan i want your help to execute it."

I said " Devin go tell Chris that i want to talk to him near the city river bridge..... also tell him that i will help him with his problems". he replies " Ava but why near the bridge ?? "...... now i did not go wasting time in explaining about the plan " Look Devin can you please do what i say because I don't have time to tell you everything..... sorry if i'm being rude to you....". he replied " OK Ava i'll do what you say". While the time Devin goes and tell Chris I'll go tell Simran to meet Devin near the bridge to share all her pain to Devin.

i have  already reached my destination and Devin is late and in no time..... My phone rings.. It's finally  Devin " hello Ava i'm near the bridge " he said. I ran to him by the time Simran and Christopher came i pulled him out of the plot. Christopher and Simran came on time they were searching us near the bridge, but the twist is......

Christopher turns around from one end of the bridge, and Simran turns around from another end of the bridge...... The sun is almost to go down... and finally they saw each other and they froze for  a second and first Simran starts to run towards Christopher and Christopher starts running towards her . Both finally come close to each other. Simran says " Christopher i'm really really sorry that i got pissed on you i did not know how to react that's  why i reacted like that and now as you are here in front of me i just wanna say you that I really really love you and i wanna grow old together with only you ....." Christopher went blank for a while. Then he says " OH Simran I love you too" and both of them get so happy that they hugged each other tight with a teary eyes.... It was the orange sky, sun was about to set.... it was just so amazing to look at them. At the right time it starts pouring  i guess mother nature was also happy for both of them.

Not less than half a mile, I and Devin stand behind the light pole and witnessed this beautiful.....   " THE BRIDGE INCIDENT ". Devin and i smiled at each other and gave each other a big hug , out of happiness . Devin exclaimed with happiness " Thank you so much Ava for everything you have done to bring them together... your such an amazing soul "....... " it's my responsibility Devin you need not to thank me for anything " i replied. We walked towards them to congratulate them but they were so lost that they did not care about outside world. So we decided not to disturb them and we dispersed from the bridge. 

The feeling when you bring two sweet hearts together is just amazing. i felt as if somebody proposed me and i accepted it .... This beautiful BRIDGE INCIDENT is just unforgettable and will always remain in my heart.....
