8. The Lucky Me !!.....

I can't digest the fact that Chris is gonna leave us and go to some city which is in the other side of the earth.... not only me but everyone in our group is gonna miss him so much... Christopher is the best, funny and a very charming person ever seen... his presence keeps us smiling always.... I feel so bad for Simran who just got into a relationship and they have to just go far from each other.... Why do their life suck so bad.... i just hope that they just stay happy and not separate from each other... i really want them to stay together forever and ever..... And now they both have started to tease me and Devin, i enjoy it every time but  i have to act as if i don't know what's going on and that's a really very difficult to hid that smile and act to be so dumb.... and for a fact that Devin is so so dumb that he does'nt even get the thing that they are teasing us... and all he does at that time is looking at my face as if he does'nt  know anything and thus at that time i don't know how to act and the best answer is to keep quiet and stare at his face back.... ahh we( i mean only Devin not me ) are so dumb together and we will make a good pair for sure.

I enter the school with a smile and see everyone rushing towards the notice board.... i thought it was not that important to me so i was walking towards my class and i saw even Simran walking towards the main notice board so i ask her " Hey Simran even you are going towards the notice board... is there anything important put on that board and something which is useful for us in anyway because are school keeps putting some nonsense stuff on the board...?". She replies to me that " yes Ava i know that they were putting some nonsense stuff lately but i remember our vice principal saying that there is gonna be a special announcement so everyone is so excited because it the prom season and everyone is expecting it to be that....". OMG yeah how can i even forget that it is the prom season... I joined Simran and both of us walked fast out of curiosity and "TADA".... It was about the prom night and that to it was tomorrow... We read it and i and Simran looked at each other and gave a big hug....

Simran was floating in air because she will the prom with he boyfriend before he goes and me i was happy that i will go prom with Devin... i mean i'm not sure i have to ask Devin once.. but I'm sure he will choose me because I'm his close one... Simran asks me " Ava there is a reason why i'm happy but tell me one thing...... why are you happy ? ". I replied " Nothing like that Simran I'm just happy like that... Even i don't know why i'm happy "..... " I know why you are happy Ava it's because you can ask Devin to be your prom partner and you both can enjoy your personal time ". OMG how does she know what i think i could'nt control it so i smiled off and she laughed and said " Ava i knew it you like Devin right...OMG why the hell did'nt you tell me Ava.... I mean even if you did'nt tell i understood that day only.... i really think that Devin has the same opinion as you have on him and i guess he will accept you as his prom partner... you should go ask him "  she said.... i could'nt stop smiling at all after hearing all this i got confidence that Devin is gonna surely accept me as his partner tonight. " yeah ok Simran i will ask him out very soon ".

I saw Devin sitting at a corner of the class and i saw him talking to a newly joined girl.... i stopped for a while and just did'nt care about her for that moment and i ran to him " Devin listen i have to speak to you for a while personally can you please come with me now...." i asked him. " Excuse me Betty i'll be right back" he excused himself in front of that new girl and walked with me to the outside and we stopped outside the class, " Ava is there anything wrong , do you want my help for anything...?".... Devin asked worriedly. " hmm nothing that serious Devin i just wanted to ask you that....." ..... Ava its OK you can tell it to me I can sort it out for you no matter what ".... He said . "nothing that serious Devin I just wanted to ask you that will you be my prom partner tonight please ".... I asked him out with  very bravely and I closed my eyes wanting a positive reply . Devin said "Sorry Ava I can't be your prom partner tonight because my childhood friend and neighbor who has joined today has asked me to be her partner just now , that's what we were talking about when you called me.... I'm really sorry for not being able to accept your invitation, I hope you will understand the situation Ava "....... "Devin are you done there is a lot to discuss with you come fast " shouted Betty from inside of the class...... " yeah I'm coming Betty..... Sorry Ava " Devin said this and went to talk to Betty.
