"MIII?!" Aikha shouted, jumping up the space of the bed beside me, "bakit ka mag cry uy!" She shouted worriedly and wiped my tear "Tutulog ka na lang ei"
So, it was a dream?
"It's nothing baby" I kissed her cheek
The bedroom door slowly creeked open, "Good morning, Love" Mikha walked in holding a tray of food
"Mom oh, Mami is crying in her sleep" sumbong ni Aikha, our 6years old daughter
Mikha placed the tray on the bedside table and sat next to me, "hey? Why are you crying, love?" She asks
"Nightmare" I sat up. "Oh? What happened?" Mikha asked again and gently caressed my face
"You died" I straightforwardly said.
"Grabe naman, you should've at least sugarcoated it"
"Mom died? Noo!!" Aikha hugged Mikha's back, a smile formed on my lips at the two people infront of me
"It was just a dream okay? It won't happen" Mikha assured her
"Kain kana Ai. Aikha and I already ate kanina." She handed me the tray, sunny side up with fried rice and juice. "Wow, luto mo?"
"Yeah, 'yan lang kasi alam ko lutuin hehe" mikha scratched the back of her head and cutely smiled
For context, we've been married for 4 years. We adopted Aikha when she was 3years old, a year after we got married. Her birthday is on June 11, and her name is my name, "Ai" and Mikha's name "Kha", hence "Aikha".
"Where is my favourite family in the world?!" Sheena barged open the bedroom door, "Titaaa shee!" Aikha ran up to her, excited to see her tita

Our flight to Thailand is 1pm sharp. It's basically a vacation trip for us family and the girls. I slept too deep last night because of tiredness, cleaning an after houseparty for Aikha. I guess it made me dream things
