Chapter 10. Body's own reaction.

Carla, August's bodyguard,  "He's not opening the door nor responding in any way." He says after calling on August's door several times .

Producer ,  "What do you mean by he's not responding! He's supposed to be out there at filming scene in twenty minutes!" He paces around worrying about today's schedule.

"He drunk a lot last night , am not sure if he's sober and okay now." Carla says looking worried, last night he had no choice but to do what his boss asked him to do , which is to bring him alcohol , he couldn't stop him , he was lashed at when he tried to refuse to do what he was asked to , he was even threatened to be fired .

" He drunk when he knew he has a shoot to make today! He said it himself, why is he behaving like like this now! I've known him like forever and this is not like him ! It's like he's a whole different person. You shouldn't have let him take it anyway!" He says heading towards Arthur's room.

Carla follows him, "I couldn't stop him."

" I'll go see if they have a spare key to open the door." Arthur says leaving , he goes to the lady at the desk and requests for it , after they confirm , they give it to him .

Arthur follows the others and when he gets there he trues to call August too , the fact that he doesn't know what to expect when he opens the door is making him nervous, after calling but Still there is no response, he unlocks the door and pushes it gradually .

Their eyes land on August sleeping on the floor unconsciously . "Sir ? Sir..! ? " Carla runs to him shaking and calling.

" Hm... Uhgr... Stoop!" Arthur groans .

Carla smiles gladly knowing that he's still alive, "Thank God you are fine." He says trying to lift him.

Mr. Stone, producer,  "August, did you forget? You're filming today and we're already late , but there's no problem, we'll give you time to get ready then we can go."

"Am sorry."  He says his voice sounding hoarse , he struggles to stand , he staggers behind but Arthur holds him for support , his eyes are sore and slightly red , his head is throbbing in pain.

Mr. Stone,  "There's nothing to be sorry about , we'll give you time to ..."

August cuts him,  "No, sorry because am not taking part in your series!"

" What are you talking about? Didn't you say we will start this today?!" Danny says confusion written all over his face , as well as everyone's else.

Mr. Stone,  "Are you kidding me?"

August,  "Never known myself as a joking person , I really apologize , I'll pay for the wastage of your time , any amount that you want in return." He says as he takes his phone ready to transfer the money .

They refuse to let him quit but August is in no mood to argue with any of them, so they leave alone , he transfers the money and they leave postponing the day of filming as they look for the new male lead .

The rest of the day August spends in his room trying to put himself together , what is happening to him is very new  , every time he remembers holding Asher's cheeks the picture goes blur after that , he has no idea how he found his lips on Asher's . It really makes him angry to the extent of punching the wall till his knuckles bleed , he has drunk almost all night but still it's not helping. "Why and how did I do that." Is the question that has refused to leave his head alone.

When he tries to put that thought away, the other one kicks in.  "Why am I even wasting my time on begging you because even if I do it all my life you'll never listen , you are the most person I hate on this planet and now I even hate you more! I wish you could disappear to hell!"  Asher's words torcher him like nothing else has ever.

"What does his words matter?! He is no one ! Am not what he thinks I am , otherwise why would people love and support me?!" He convinces himself as he stands up to pack.

" Am never thinking about all this shit the moment I leave this place! All useless shit!" He slams the door leaving.

Carla has been outside the door all this time , he takes Arthur's suitcase and leads the way to the car.

During the drive he doesn't dare say a word , normally they would talk even if it's not a lot , right now he knows the mood is not right , ever since his boss found himself kissing a man , the mood hasn't been right.

Carla had asked himself many questions too about it , the only explanation that comes in his head is that maybe his boss is gay and he has no idea about it . Maybe he fell for that boy and again he has no idea about it. But when exactly did he fall for him , the other day he found him browsing Asher's page on instagram , not once or twice.

What could be other explanation except for him falling for Asher without knowing, during this past two months he has been spotting him stare at Asher , he told him once that Asher has an issue with him and he just can't stop wondering what the problem , Arthur never cares about things like those nor other people that he just met , even those he met long ago , so why would Asher's issue bother him?! This must be other prove that he fell without knowing.

How would he know anyway.. he has never seen him with anyone romantically, he always bury himself in work , this must have gotten him off_guard .

He fell for Asher without knowing and when he got closer to him , his body reacted on its own and that's how he found himself kissing him.

That's the only sane answer to all this, and he is never going to accept the truth even if he knows out.
