Family ain't who you're born with

It's who you die for

Camellia Potter longed to go back to Hogwarts after spending the whole summer with her Gryffindor obsessed family. She missed her friends dearly and wanted to be back in their presence as soon as possible, but with the kind of family she had, that was turning out to be easier said than done.

"Is everyone ready to go?" Persephone Lupin-Black asked as she strapped Ivy's seatbelt before joining her in the seat beside the ginger.

"Nope," Cami answered from her own seat, rolling her eyes at the voices she could hear from inside Potter Manor. She was sure they would all be terribly late if they didn't hurry. Persephone glared at Cami before turning on her heel and walking back to the Manor to hurry everyone up.

"I'll miss you, Lia," Ivy said, her brown eyes filling themselves with tears as she stared at her older sister. Cami, however, was to invested in her book to actually pay attention to Ivy. "Maybe over the holidays we can play some Quidditch like before?"

"Maybe," Camellia mumbled indifferently, huffing as she looked at her watch. She unbuckled her seat belt before hurrying inside the Manor and cupping her lips. "HURRY UP! WE'LL BE LATE!"

"Ivy, don't let go off my hand," Lily Potter said as the Potters and Black-Lupins hurried over to the 9/4 Platform. "Camellia, hold on to Danny!"

Camellia tightened her hand over Daniel's before she pushed them both towards the wall and inside the platform. As she had foretold, they were tragically late and the train was about to leave. The family pushed through the full platform of wizards and witches saying goodbye to their kids for the term.

At first glance, she didn't see any of her friends, she knew they probably had a compartment already and where patiently waiting for the train to take off. She looked behind her, watching as James and Sirius hurried to put their kid's trunk on the platform; Persephone, Nate and Harry were nowhere to be found so Camellia assumed they were already on the train.

Before she could drag Daniel up to the train, something pulled her back from the back of her bright red jumper. She turned, only to be faced with her mother; a worried look in her eyes.

"Mum, we have to go," Camellia insisted, nerves running through her veins. "The others are already on the train!"

Lily smiled tensely at her children, Ivy still holding tightly to her hand. "Take care of Dan, Cami," Lily said, rubbing Camellia's cheek with her free hand.
