Sabrina's album is out in like 2 hours ahh !!

The days following her visit to Arrowhead Stadium were a whirlwind for Taylor. Despite her fame, she wasn't used to this kind of media attention—her personal life had always been under the microscope, but now there were endless speculations about her connection with Travis. Tabloids ran stories about every possible angle: Were they dating? Just friends? Was this a publicity stunt?

But in the midst of all the noise, Taylor found herself surprisingly calm. She had spent the last few years learning how to shield herself from the pressures of fame with yoghurt boy, after all he hides a lot, and right now, what mattered to her was that she had enjoyed her time with Travis. He was fun, genuine, and had an energy that made her want to know him better.

It wasn't long before their schedules aligned again. Taylor had a few days off between recording sessions, and Travis had just come off a big win. He suggested they meet up in New York, and Taylor was more than happy to host him in her city.

The plan was simple: a casual dinner at her place, away from prying eyes and cameras. Taylor spent the afternoon prepping her favorite comfort food—homemade pasta with a fresh tomato basil sauce—and setting the table with candles and fresh flowers. She wanted to create a relaxed atmosphere, where they could just be themselves without the pressure of the outside world.

When Travis arrived, he was carrying a bottle of wine and wearing that same easy smile that Taylor had found so charming. "I brought a little something," he said, handing her the bottle.

Taylor took it, smiling as she read the label. "Nice choice," she said, leading him into the kitchen. "Make yourself at home. Dinner's almost ready."

As they settled into her cozy dining room, the conversation flowed as easily as the wine. They talked about everything—her upcoming album, his football career, their families, and even their mutual love for bad reality TV shows.

"So, do you think you're ready for another NFL game?" Travis teased, swirling his wine.

Taylor laughed, shaking her head. "I think I need a little more practice before I'm a die-hard fan, but I have to admit, it was a lot more exciting than I expected."

"Good to hear," Travis said, leaning back in his chair. "Because I was thinking, maybe next time you could bring some of your crew. We'll make a day of it."

"I'd like that," Taylor said, smiling at the thought. The idea of blending their worlds, of sharing experiences with their friends, felt right. Natural.

As the evening wore on, they moved to the living room, where Meredith had claimed her usual spot on the couch. Travis reached out to pet her, and to Taylor's surprise, the usually aloof cat seemed to take to him immediately.

"I think she likes you," Taylor said, raising an eyebrow. "That's rare."

"Must be my charm," Travis quipped, his grin widening.

They continued talking, their conversation shifting to deeper topics as the night progressed. Travis shared stories about growing up in Ohio, about how football had always been a part of his life, but how he sometimes wondered what else was out there for him. Taylor found herself opening up about her own doubts and fears—about how she sometimes felt like she was living in a fishbowl, with everyone watching her every move.

"But tonight, this—" she gestured around her apartment, "—this feels normal. And I really needed that."

"Same here," Travis said, his voice softening. "It's nice to just... be. No cameras, no expectations. Just us."

A comfortable silence settled between them, the kind that only happens when two people are truly at ease with each other. Taylor felt a warmth spread through her as she realized how much she enjoyed his company—how easy it was to talk to him, to be around him.

As the night came to an end, Travis stood to leave, but not before pulling a small envelope from his pocket.

"I know we've got the bracelet thing down," he said, handing it to her with a sheepish smile, "but I thought I'd step up my game."

Curious, Taylor opened the envelope and found a simple card inside, with a pair of tickets to his next game tucked within.

"I wanted you to have the full experience," Travis explained. "And who knows, maybe I'll score another touchdown for you."

Taylor felt a surge of affection as she looked up at him. "You didn't have to do that, but I'm glad you did. I'll be there."

They stood by the door, neither wanting the night to end just yet. Travis leaned in, his voice low as he said, "I had a really great time tonight, Taylor."

"Me too," she replied, her heart beating a little faster as she looked up at him.

For a moment, it felt like time stood still, the city outside fading into the background. And then, before she could overthink it, Taylor closed the distance between them, pressing a soft kiss to his cheek.

"Goodnight, Travis," she whispered, her voice barely audible.

Travis grinned, his eyes twinkling as he replied, "Goodnight, Taylor. See you soon."

As she closed the door behind him, Taylor leaned against it, a smile tugging at her lips. This wasn't what she had expected when she first DM'd him, but now, she was more than okay with that. She had a feeling this was just the beginning of something special.
