The Arrival Chap.6

On the second day before your arrival you'd gotten on a boat arranged to take you straight to Port Ormos and then from there Sumeru City. That was the first time you'd ever taken a boat before and honestly you felt sick during the trip, Ororon guessed you were seasick

And After arriving at Port Ormos you decided to rest there for a while

"Are you feeling any better?"

You nodded, "Yes, though I do dread having to board it again,"

Ororon sighed, "It's the fastest way to reach Sumeru City, If not by Sumpter Beast,"

You clutched your stomach as you felt yourself get sick again, "Ororon..."

He came closer and rubbed your back, "Uh Oh, are you gonna throw up again?"

"No...but, if you would please arrange a Sumpter Beast. I really don't think I'll be able to stand another trip by boat,"

He gave a nod, "Ok,"

Ororon supported you as you walked so you could sit down, then leaving you for a few moments as he went to ask around. When Ororon returned he'd secured an agreement with someone to take you to Sumeru City, but he said tomorrow as he thought it best for you to rest and recover for the remainder of the day. So you went to the Shapur Hotel to see if they had rooms available, luckily they did but when you told them who you were they quickly gave you the best room the place had to offer

Sareh smiled, "I've heard so many stories about Kuhani Wa Xochitl, we're so honored to have your Highness stay the night please allow me to show you to your rooms,"

You smiled, "Thank you,"

"If I may ask, what brings your Highness to Sumeru?"

"I've come for an Audience with the Dendro Archon,"

Ororon was surprised, he lowered his voice "Are you really?"

You nodded, "Yes, It's only polite that I pay her a visit and give her Mothers Regards, She's also an Archon after all,"

You got your things and followed her as she showed you to your room, and then Ororon who was down the hall not too far away from you. It felt so much better to be out of the hot sun, you put your things away before lying down on the bed. It was incredibly comfortable and plush not to mention cool to touch

You then realized, now you'd be able to have a proper bath after all that travel. So you did and took your time to clean up, Afterwards you had the intent to explore The Famous Port Ormos. So you went to fetch your faithful bodyguard, walking down the hall you went to Ororon's room and knocked on the door. You didn't get a response at first and so did it again but the door creaked open. You couldn't help looking inside to see Ororon and what you Saw made you quickly turn to leave, he was wet and had a towel around himself. You guessed he'd taken a bath as well

Your cheeks became has red as your Auburn Hair as you tried your best to forget what you saw. You headed back to your room to wait until he was finished and actually dressed, you then thought about what The Dendro Archon would be like although you'd heard she was incredibly wise and kind not to mention suffered a great deal at the hands of the Sages before. It was incredibly lamentable.

Just then a knock came at your door,

"Come in,"

Ororon opened the door, "Apologies, I wanted to ask if you'd like to see the Port,"

You smiled with a nod, "I'd love to, I was um....going to come ask you to accompany me,"

"I See, Well we can go now I'll come with you wherever you wish,"

After that you both left the Shapur Hotel to have a look around Port Ormos. The Port was the biggest Travel and Trade Hub In Sumeru and you could see it due to all the merchants and ships. Ports In Natlan were smaller than this but nontheless busy

Just then your stomach rumbled and it made you blush in embarrassment,

Ororon smiled, "Hungry?"

You nodded, "It seems so,"

Ororon turned, "Come on, there's a Tavern in the area I did a little asking around since we'll be here for the night,"

You followed Ororon as you headed to Djafar Tavern, as you went inside you were greeted by Nesmil before taken to a table. She asked if you'd like anything to drink, it was much too early for wine and too late for Coffee so you opted for a Mint Lemonade that they served

"Alright, and you sir?"

Ororon started, "I'll have the same please, sounds refreshing,"

Nesmil gave a nod, "Ok, I'll be back soon with your drinks take all the time to decide what you'd like to eat,"

She left as you deliberated over what you wanted to eat, this was your first time in Sumeru so you wished to have a dish that was specialty from there

"The Tandoori Chicken sounds delicious, but so does that Sabz Meat stew..."

You then remembered, "I forgot to ask, Granny Itzili how'd she react to hearing you'd be leaving Natlan?"

Ororon let out a sigh, "Granny was...Concerned, but I told her I'd he fine and heed the three warnings"

You giggled, "I see,"

"Also, she said If anything happens to you she'd never let me hear the end of it,"

Just then Nesmil returned with your drinks, also asking if you were ready to order. So you decided to just get the Biryani In the end while Ororon opted for the Potato Boat to keep it simple

You picked up your cup as you had a sip of the Lemonade, it had a nice sweetness and the mint was so fresh

"It's delicious!"

Ororon smiled, "Good to hear you like it, now I feel like I should've gotten some".
