The General Mahamatra Cyno had invited you both to Aaru Village, you hadn't been to any of the civilizations in the Desert yet so you were happy to go. You and Ororon packed enough water flasks on you to keep hydrated before leaving. Cyno himself then escorted you to the Lower Setekh where it lied

While walking you felt a presence was watching all three of you. Ororon sensed it as well as he got on guard

"We're not Alone," He said

You gave a nod, "Indeed,"

Cyno turned, "It's alright I know exactly who it is, you'll meet her shortly,"

And a few minutes later you saw a woman drop down, she had dark blue hair wearing colors of white, gold and purple. Her eyes dual colored like Ororon's which he noticed quickly

He went to stand in front of you, "Who are you?"

She smiled, "Sorry I didn't mean to keep you on guard like that, My Name is Candace I am the Guardian of Aaru Village,"

Cyno started, "Told you,"

You motioned Ororon to stand down and you stepped forward. "It's nice to meet you Candace I am-"

"Princess of Natlan Right? Cyno sent a letter already,"

She inclined her head to bow, "It's an Honor,"

She then gestured, "Welcome to Aaru Village, please right this way"

The three of you followed Candace as you soon made it into the village. You were surprised that people were able to establish a village out there

"This is amazing...." You said

Candace then turned, "I'll take you to meet The Chief. Also if you're hungry I'd be more than happy to prepare a meal"

"That's very kind of you Miss Candace, but we couldn't po-"

Cyno started, "Her Mixed Rice is really good, In Aaru Village The Hospitality is second to none"

You then smiled, "Alright,"

While you walked Candace explained the history of Aaru Village before you arrived at the Chief's home. Candace called him Uncle Anpu, he was a very kind and wise elder. After Leaving his Home you started to Candace's but....

"Your Highness, Now would be the perfect time for our Dual Don't you agree?"

You gave a nod, "Yes, But if Miss Candace permits it,"

"As long as it's outside the Village you can dual as long as you wish, in fact I'll be a witness to it if you'd like,"

In agreement the four of you started to head back outside of the Village.

Ororon grabbed your hand, "(Y/n) are you sure?"

You smiled, "Yes, I'd never accept a Dual I'd be unsure of. I promise I'll be fine"

You gave his hand a squeeze, "Don't worry Ororon I can handle myself,"

"Yes I know, I've never doubted your strength but as your Bodyguard. Shouldn't I fight for you?"

You shook your head, "Only if I end up in danger,"

You then released each other's hands, and you went to face off with Cyno as you stood several paces apart. You summoned your polearm and he did the same but also Hermanubis energy

Sparks flew from your Polearm as you and Cyno walked in a circle to square up. He was the first to speak our

You channeled your Pyro Elemental powers, the markings on your face and the Tattoos on your body glowed just like any other with a Ancient name. Without any hesitation Cyno flashed forward in front of you. Knocking you backwards with his Polearm, his speed caught you greatly off guard

You caught yourself, "I sense...something Ancient inside you,"

"Yes, A Spirit dwells inside me it gives me my power"

You gave a nod, "Impressive"

You picked yourself up off the ground now knowing he was not to be underestimated. However, Neither were you as you lunged towards Cyno

He countered your attack as you clashes polearms again and again. You leapt into the air as magical Flames appeared around you in a circle, they then launched towards Cyno as he ducked and dodged. Rotating his polearm with great speed as he then got a running start before leaping into the air. You prepared yourself as you put up a Pyro Shield then using the energy to push him back. Cyno was impressed by your combat abilities and your skills

You did a flip as you dodged him, he was giving you quite the workout today. It was uncommon especially In Natlan for someone to push you this much. Cyno kicked up some sand as it blew into your eyes and you shrieked

"!!!!"

Rubbing your eyes quickly, they teared up but you stayed vigilant. And you countered his attack before kicking him away once more, Your Pyro Vision glowed bright as you channeled the Elemental Power again. then planting your weapon into the ground firmly, as you summoned a Cyclone of Fire that bore down upon Cyno but he'd braced himself as he too shielded himself. And through the Flames he leapt fourth with his Claws bared, he slashed you with the force sending you back several feet

Ororon quickly stood up, "!!!!!"

He then ran over to where you were, stooping down as he shook you

"Hey! (Y/n),"

He put his hand on your cheek, just as you started to open your eyes. He looked at the wound on your arm as it bled, to which Cyno then realized and it made him come rushing over too

"This was only a spar I'm sorry I didn't mean to actually harm her,"

Ororon looked to him, "I know, In Natlan there's no one except our Archon who can defeat her...you're powerful General Mahamatra,"

Cyno was surprised, "I see,"

Just as you became conscious again you looked to Cyno, a smile coming

"I know when I am outmatched, you General Mahamatra are incredibly skilled"

He got down to your level, "I didn't mean to injure you, this was only a spar,"

You shook your head, "No, Injuries are bound to happen especially when sparing. Please don't worry,"

Ororon squeezed your shoulders, "Are you Alright?"

You gave him a nod, "Yes,"

Ororon then took your hand, "Come on"

He helped you to stand up as he supported you, your body did ache quite a bit. But you weren't that hurt, however Ororon's gesture of putting his arm around your waist made you quiet

Cyno noticed the exchange between you two, he could see deep affection.
