I feel my body getting electrocuted. Slowly my soul was leaving my body. I looked at him the whole time. He never felt any pain while doing this. He enjoyed doing this to me. He stops and they untie me from the chair. Kane pulls me by my loose hair extensions and throws me inside some fridge. He closes the door and leaves.

Me: No… just kill me. Kill me instead please

I realize that its pointless so I just sit on the floor and hug my feet

A FEW MINUTES LATER

I feel numb. Ive been trembling so much and it hurt, the kane guy opens the door and looks at me.

Kane: mhh

He grabs me again. Dragging me on the floor and I get placed in the boot of the car.

Me: lw… lwando I hate… I hate you.

I take a short nap and then I get taken inside the house I was in. My dress was Now red and brown. I looked horrible and to top it off, My cousin is the reason for my situation. They throw me inside the room and then the kane guy comes inside.

Kane: Take

He throws 2 slices of bread on the floor

Kane: eat

I look at him and he leaves

Me: I’m not eating this bread. He thinks I’m his dog.

2 WEEKS LATER

Im still in the same house, getting beaten up and stuff. I don’t know why Lwando was taking so much time, but I guess he likes this idea of this guy abusing me because of his bad habits

…: He is going to a meeting Today at Mpumalanga
…: At least this poor girl wont get abused for probably the next 3 days.

…: and what hurts the most is that she is taking all this punishment for her brothers bad habits.

I was pleased that he was leaving. I sit on the floor and eat my brown bread.

A FEW HOURS LATER

Someone knocks on the door and I look up

…: hello
Me: (nods)
…: are you okay ??
Me: (shakes head)
…: I brought you some food. Please eat
Me: (shakes head)
…: my name is Litha, you are ?
Me: (voicing breaking) Mi…Miyah
Litha: you have a pretty name. How long have you been here ?
Me: 2 ½ weeks
Litha: what happened ??
Me: M…y brother stole from kane. Now I am getting punished for his bad habits
Litha: wow, and he promised that he had stopped doing this.
Me: are you his wife ?
Litha: (laughs) No. Kane doesn’t have a wife. Im his sister, His name is Lilitha and im Litha
Me: (nods) when last did you bath ??
Litha: Today. Why ??
Me: (shrugs)
Litha: Take

She gives me The plate and I look at it. It had Sunny side up (egg), toast, avocado, baked beans, fried onions, tomato and Mushroom

Me: No Thank you
Litha: No, eat

I look at her

Litha: its not poisoned. I promise

I look at the plate and without hesitation I eat. She looks at me and I start feelings weird. Within a few minutes I am finished with my food. She takes my plate and gives me some juice. When last ?? I drink it and she takes the glass

Me: thank you !

She leaves

LITHA

My name is Litha Christiana Mbatha. I am Kane's little sister.

I cant believe kane would do such a horrible thing. I always knew that something fishy was going on in this house until matthew told me that kane was keeping a girl here for some business related reasons. I saw how her killed the guy the other day and how he tortured the poor girl.

Jnr: aunty juice.
Me: okay boy, I’m coming. Hambo hlala phantsi

I wash her plate and pour some juice for the kids. I head up to my room and find sis Judy doing my laundry

Me: sis judy, did you know about the girl in kanes room
Judy: yes I did. Matthew just told me right now, Poor girl. Kane has not changed and it shows.
Me: let me give her some new clothes to wear and some necessities.

I grab my extra toilet bag and I place some soap, a facecloth, A clean pair of underwear, a new toothbrush and some Sanitary Pads. I place my roll on and my spray and then I grab one of my favorite dresses and I head to her room. She was sleeping on the floor and she looked weak.

Me: hey
Miyah: hi
Me: here you go. Go and bath real quick
Miyah: no, I don’t want your brother to beat me up.
Me: he wont, just go.

She takes the stuff and goes to the bathroom. She closes the door and the I hear the bathtub water running.

AFTER SOMETIME

The kids come inside and they look at the blood on the floor and hug me

Lunathi: mama Gazi (Mom Blood)
Me: go and play

And then she comes out of the bathroom. She was very pretty and I could even see when I saw her lying on the floor that she was a mooi meisie.

Me: wow you look so adorable
Miyah: thank you. Thank you for all this.
Me: don’t worry about it. As long as you are okay
Miyah: are those your kids ??
Me: yeah, this is Junior, Liya and Lunathi.
Miyah: you look like Lunathi
Me: a lot of them say that
Miyah: (giggles)

I look at her. Kane is really heartless sometimes, and she didn't even do anything to him.
