Chapter 1 Sirenclan POV

It was foggy, but it was the full moon. That meant a gathering was to happen. Lunarstar, leader of Sirenclan, was talking to his deputy Duskflare, "Still no sign of Ravenfrost? " Duskflare's eyes were filled with grief. His only sister had went missing. "No Lunarstar...I just don't see where she could have gone..." Lunarstar let out a long sigh, wishing he hadn't asked Duskflare. He felt bad he brang it up, "Duskflare I'm so sorry she disappeared. Maybe clan life wasn't for her, maybe--" he was cut off before he could finish. "How could you say that!? She would never become a kittypet!" Duskflare marched away in anger and sadness.

On the way to the gathering, Lunarstar had noticed that Bristlestar, Havenclan's leader, seemed on edge. I wonder what could be her problem, thought Lunarstar. "Greetings cats, please quiet down, as the gathering is to begin. " the murmurs stopped as Wingclan's leader started talking. "As you all know, green leaf has arrived!" Excitement flowed through the crowd, "Prey is full and our warriors are strong as ever to defend our selves from enemies" Applestar shot a glare at Emberclan. "That is all" she took a step back as Bristlestar stepped forward.

"Havenclan is doing well. Rabbits are plentiful and we thanks Starclan for that" she looked at the ground, and continued slowly, "Seven sunrises ago, my deputy and his mate vanished along with the medicine cat. We haven't seen them since. We aren't sure if they left, or were killed. Autumnfeather and I did get into a fight, but I didn't think it might drive them out... He must have told Silvermoon as well" All the cats looked at the empty stump next to her. Lunarstars eyes widened, "I lost one of my cats too! Around the same time! " Coalstar let out a meow of amusement, " You have no loyal warriors! Even your own deputy left! " Pelts started to raise with glares and hisses as Emberclan cats let out agreements. "Please don't fight! We must remain civil! While the moon is out, we can not fight!" Applestar tried to stop the hostility, but was failing. Almost at once, a flash of lightning struck and the medicine cats started to shake. They then all collected to the front of the clearing and said in unison
"To find the missing four,
You must start at the core.
To search for the Light,
You may have to fight.
To locate the Dark,
Follow the spark.
To find the Silent,
ask the violent"
As if nothing had happened, the medicine cats looked around at everyone staring at them. "It's a message from Starclan!" a Havenclan cat hissed. Howls of terror and chaos was in the gathering. The leaders knew what they had to do; send the cats on a journey.
