Evan's POV:

"What is the meaning of this?! Everyone phones down!"
Principal Rylan screamed.

All the students got startled as they put their phones away while the principal walked over to us.

Mei was drenched in orange juice as she looked down, as if she was ashamed. I got up and took my cardigan and wrapped it around her. Vanessa's gaze pierced through Mei's skin.

"Miss Carnegie did you.... do this.? Why? How could you!" Principal Rylan asked as he looked as his daughter drenched in orange juice.

"Because I can and because she deserves it. I'm tired of settling for you low lives, it pisses me off every fucking day when someone wants to force me to be nice"
Vanessa said as she rolled her eyes.

"But Miss Carnegie. Is this what your parents taught you? This is bad behavior and it will not be acceptable" Principal Rylan said as he walked over to Mei, his daughter

"Don't you dare talk about how my parents rasied me if anything I look a billion times better than your loser daughter, how about you teach your daughter how to be a good friend and not an authenticated hoe!"

Vanessa said as she also threw the juice box at Mei.

"That's fucking enough."
I said at Vanessa.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN THAT'S ENOUGH? YOU ARE MY BOYFRIEND!"
Vanessa shouted at me. Her fists bulged up.

"Woaaah. Someone get this on tiktok"
Tyler said, while Iris glared at him.

"Shouldn't we just...leave—"
Jay added.

Vanessa got up and walked towards the principal.

"I'll have you remember that my daddy can do ANYTHING and when I mean anything I mean getting your pathetic ass kicked out from being the principal. Everythingis replaceable"

Vanessa said as she gritted her teeth and strutted off, flipping her long blonde hair. Iris got up and followed her like a lost dog.

I couldn't give a fig about them. They're more awful than I am. I mean bullying your own friend is just a new rank of being a Barbie bitch. I mean Mei and I aren't friends but I at least I have some sort of respect.

I know I bully Kai but God damn.

Mei walked away while being drenched in orange juice. So I ran after her.

"Hey, you okay?"
I asked her as she stood still in the hall, her face downcasted on the ground.

"I'm fine"
Mei said as she took my cardigan off, as well as her shirt.

I paused for a second then looked away.

"No worries, I have a vest on"
She said to me reassuringly

I stood there awkwardly.

"Well I'm sorry for what Vanessa did. She's spoiled and it's honestly ridiculous"

I said as I leaned against the wall watching Mei  put my cardigan on over her vest. It was obviously too big for her but I guess that's what girls call 'cute'.

"Maybe that's just how she is.."
Mei said in a soft whisper while buttoning up the cardigan.

"So what? I know I can be an asshole too sometimes but I won't treat my friends like chop liver"
I said seriously.

"You should learn to defend yourself Mei. If you want...I can probably teach you"

Mei's eyes widened for a second then she looked away.
