The sounds of flapping wings could be heard through the peaceful afternoon. Soft sounds of candle lighting up and echo of bird chips.
"You're really obsessed with that game, huh?"
You let out a soft hum, while you continue to collect your daily waxes, 'I'm close to 2000 candles, if I could collect more I could buy the next accessories from the upcoming TS next wee-'
Your train of thoughts were cut off as your phone was taken away from you. This made you tense a bit but you soon realized what just happened. You give a look at your smirking twin brother, he was holding your phone from his right while holding a notebook, "I know I gave us 5 mins of break but the 5 mins are up and you were ignoring me."
"Aw, come on! I'm sorry, okay? Plus, you didn't have to snatch my phone like that," You pouted as you took your phone from your brother, "Also, the deadline for the assignment is like next Wednesday. We have like six days, Kenshin."
Kenshin sighs as he collects her stuff, "Will yes, but should I remind you that we have other assignments? And don't get me started with the test on Tuesday next week."
You groan when you get reminded of the upcoming test. You, along with Kenshin, just finished doing a test in Theology three hours ago. At first, you didn't want to do anything after the test, however Kenshin insisted that the both of you should do some of your assignments. Saying that it would help reduce the amount of school work for the two of you.
You finished 2 works from your group assignment, along with 1 essay 500 words, although that did help reduce your work. It also made you realize how much you procrastinate on individual work. You slightly cringed at the 2 unfinished essays that were due three days ago, and 4 other assignments on your laptop document.
"Brother...," You whine, "Please, we've been doing assignments for hours... Can we just do the other ones next time? Please..." You pout at Kenshin trying to convince him to not do anymore work. Seeing him sigh made you beam in delight knowing that you've won.
However before he could agree, you felt him stiff. Worried, you tried to ask him what was wrong but instead of answering your question. He said, "We should leave now."
This made you even more worried. You tried to ask again but he cut you off and told you to get your stuff and go to the cafe near campus. You look at Kenshin where he was looking since he has been gazing at something while telling you all of this.
You glanced back to where he was looking. Kenshin noticed this and tried to say something but you ended up hastily getting your stuff. This also made Kenshin to get his stuff too. You both got up, although Kenshin was getting worried because of you.
"Hey, are you okay?" He asked as he held your hand gently.
"Yeah.... a little bit," You sigh slightly, giving him a small smile, "It's just... that was an unexpected encounter."
