The person who came out from the bushes did not look like your brother, but they felt so familiar. So close.
You see the said person narrowed their eyes on you. They tried to speak, but it's as if their voices weren't there.
Is.... Is this really your brother?
Present....
You call your brother's name, hoping that this unknown person might be him.
Their eyes widened in shock and took a wary step in your direction. "(name)?...(name)...is, is that you?"
Your eyes tear from their, no, Kenshin's word. You ran up to him, tackling him to the ground crying. You felt him hug back, crying on your shoulder. Both of you cried on each other's arm knowing that you weren't alone in this weird world.
You both rise from the ground and sniffle off the snot from your nose. A comfortable silence surrounds you two siblings.
"So...what do we do now?.." Kenshin softly utters as he looks at his body(?), "All...all of this is clearly...real...meaning..."
You close your eyes nodding your head, "We're dead. We...we got reincarnated, which is very unbelievable but, it seems like it's possible!"
Trying to laugh from the sudden turn of events, however you look to see your brother's gloomy face. Worried, you called out his name. But he gave you a smile, that told you that he was fine.
"I know what you're thinking, but...I am fine, I mean physically and mentally but emotionally? It's just that, that we just died and now we're just going to move on so easily?" Kinshen signs tiredly, "It isn't helping the fact that we left our family and friends too...."
You frown in sadness, Kenshin isn't wrong for thinking that way. Both of you literally died and may have left a big despair on your family and friends back home. But, like what he said, both of you have to move forward. Maybe not right now, perhaps tomorrow.
You stood up and reached your hand to Kenshin, "You're right about all of that, but we really do have to move forward. Let's start at a slow pace, come on."
Kenshin looks at your outstretched hand then at you. He sighs and smiles, "I guess you're right on that."
You pulled Kenshin up; both of you looked around you. You two needed to find a place to stay, since this is a very unfamiliar territory for the both of you. Looking back at your brother's appearance, you look at your arm and hair. It would be safe to assume that you two were no longer humans.
Now that you think about it, you two look quite familiar.
"Now that I look closely....Don't you think we both look like that one game you like to play?" Kenshin pointed out, he paused for a moment, "Does this mean...we got reincarnated in your game??"
