It was a nice day at the park, flowers were slowly wilting but still looked beautiful in an unexpected way. People were walking their dogs, exercising, listening to music and just chatting away, it was a nice sight to see after the past day. As I was walking along the path I felt as if someone was closely watching me, I didn't think too much of it though. Yet, I could not get rid of the feeling. Maybe I'm too paranoid.

"It's a trail there are people everywhere everything is fine, I really need to calm down"

After a few minutes of walking the path was starting to have less and less people on it, I could hear footsteps following behind me and stopping when I stopped, my heart was starting to race, and my breath was picking up, but I needed to calm down. I slowly tried to see who it was and just as I did, I heard his voice.

"Sawyer!"

Fucking hell! Why it does have to be him, I turned away from him and started to walk as fast as I could, but he followed and grabbed me forcefully.

"Let's not make a scene, we both know how that will end and it sure as hell won't be in your favor".

He was right it would only end badly for me and end up with stares from everybody around, so I listened to him, he grabbed my arm, and he started to take me off the path, we walked for a good 30 minutes when we reached a secluded area. My heart was pounding like it has pounded before I felt like I was going to pass the fuck out! He pinned me against a tree (cliche as hell I know) As usual I couldn't move; I wanted my body to do something, but it wouldn't do a damn thing. He hit me in stomach, and I fell to the ground gasping for air, he stepped on my ankle breaking it. I grabbed my ankle holding back my tears and trying not to yell, even if I did no one would hear. He proceeds to wrap his hands around my neck and started to squeeze and I passed out.
