VRITTI'S POV
I woke up to the morning birds chirping from outside my window. Great, another day, stuck in my house! Well that's sad, can't do any of my shoots-
Suddenly, I heard my maid knock on the door. "Miss Ullaganti! Mr. Agarwal is here, he's waiting for you!"
Yes! Finally, my boyfriend Abhimanyu was here! That's when I can leave the house and finally go party at clubs with him. He is soooo charming! I don't know what I would do if he didn't exist at all!
I quickly got ready and made my way downstairs in my cutest outfit: a sleeveless short pink dress which fit me perfectly. There he was, Abhimanyu Agarwal. The son of the wealthiest couple in India. He was on his phone. As usual, but smiling at it.
2 months ago, he's always been so obsessed with his phone. I kind of feel like he's cheating on me with his IPhone 14 Pro Max, but my suspicions grew. He was so focused on his phone, that he didn't know me casually slip by and take a peek at his phone. And my curiosity turned into anger.
One of my best friends, Myra Kumar, was texting him. And they were talking not in the besties way. But in a couple way. Abhimanyu was texting her about using me for my family's money, and he loved Myra. EXCUSE ME, BUT WHAT?!
Abhimanyu turned around, and his smile turned into a shocked face. "Vrits, it's not what you think. I can explan!". It was too late though. I gave him the well deserved slap.
I was fuming now. The boy I truly loved was cheating on me with my best friend!? "Oh, really? What's this I see?". I grabbed his phone and went through his texts with Myra.
"You made out with her, ON THE FIFTH OF JANUARY?!" I yelled at him so loud that the maid dropped a plate. "You said you couldn't come to my birthday party because of work! And this was the main reason, Myra?!"
Before he could say anything more, I called my security, and they escorted him out of our mansion. I decided to go to my room and isolate myself more, dad's curfew was an amazing idea now. I sobbed so loudly, that my older brother, Ramesh, came running up the stairs. Ramesh was one my favorite people.
He was six when I was born, and he made my life even better. Dad was barely home, so Ramesh took care of me. My mom died in a car accident, I wouldn't bring her up. Ramesh is also very protective of me. But now that he's going to become CEO of dad's company, he works a lot more. But I'm an actress, I also work a lot.
