-A cool SCP!-

Have you heard of the SCP foundation? It's a fictional foundation/organization that documents, and contains, a plethora of different creatures, supernatural objects, and everything in between.

For example, there's a vending machine that'll dispense a bunch of weird snacks and drinks that don't really exist in this world.

And there's SCP-999, a happy little slime fella who just wants to make everyone happy.

And there's that one SCP that's just... a weird set of stairs in the middle of the woods, that might send you to another dimension or something.

SCP's range from harmless, to friendly, to outright dangerous, to "100% would kill you if given the chance".

I don't know all of them, because that would be a lot to keep track of. But, there's one SCP I find very interesting!

That being, SCP-1471, named Mal0. Mal0 originates from an odd app one can download on their phone, but you can't "open" the app, and it doesn't appear anywhere, nor can it be deleted.

The app's description promises that Mal0 will be a companion, that'll never make them feel alone ever again.

But the app doesn't seem to really do anything... not at first.

But then something odd starts happening, you're sent images by an unknown number. Images of places you've been before, except, hidden somewhere within frame, is a creature.

A tall creature, that is completely black, covered in fur, the only clearly visible part of them being their face, that resembles a wolf skull. This, is Mal0.

More and more images are sent, all with Mal0 in them. Until the images escalate to them being at the place you work, and in your home. With you in frame.

But you can't really physically see Mal0, they only seem to really exist in the images... but maybe they are real?

Nobody can truly say.

It's unknown if Mal0 is good, evil, or somewhere in between. They don't seem very malicious, just kind of creepy? But then again, maybe this is their own odd way of trying to be a companion?

Maybe it's the equivalent to them going, "Oh, you like sitting in the park? So do I!" "You like this Cafe? So do I!"

Like a kid trying to fit in with a group of kids at school by saying they enjoy the same things, desperately trying to make friends in the only way they know how.

Maybe I'm looking too deep into this. But I find Mal0 to be a very interesting SCP, their design is both cool and creepy, and there's mystery surrounding their behavior.

If Mal0 really is friendly, then I'm sure they might become a good friend! If they could go about trying to be a friend some other way...

They're just a really cool scp! And I wanted to share how much I like em!
