It's been a month Beam is in US and things have been going well for him. He started attending his residency in a well known hospital "The Johns Hopkins Hospital" . It's tough for him to get adjusted to new surroundings and new people but he is determined to give his best and to become well known doctor all over the world.
"Hi Beam. Good morning." Dr. Ryan greeted. Beam is getting ready for his shift.
"Good morning Dr. Ryan" Beam said with a small smile
"So you are assigned to me. We will have rounds and then there are some surgeries which you will also attend." Dr. Ryan informed Beam
Beam become happy as Dr. Ryan is a heart surgeon and Beam want to do speciality in cardiothoracic. Beam's happiness is shown in his eyes.
"It seems you are interested in cardiothoracic" Dr.Ryan said
"Yes, i have planned to take cardiothoracic as a speciality. And it is my pleasure to work under you" Beam said sincerely.
Dr. Ryan nodded.
"Well, then be prepared to get to learn from today. I expect seriousness and total truthfulness. Whatever question you have, you should openly ask me even it's a small one. In case you have doubts about anything you see, share it with me. Our patients should be our number one priority." Dr. Ryan said seriously.
"Yes Dr. I understand" Beam said sincerly
"Ok lets start our day" Dr. Ryan said
They both went to start with the rounds.
Whole day Beam was busy following Dr. Ryan for rounds and then attending surgery. He kept tab of every patient about their conditions, medicines and surgery.
At the end of the end, Ryan was happy with Beam's sincerity and determination.
"Good job Beam" Dr. Ryan said and left
Beam was very happy and left for home.
